Study of Package Status for Specialization of Domestic Rice Brand

ABSTRACT
The purpose of this study is to analyze the consumers` purchase behaviors by graphical analysis and survey and improve the competitiveness against the competitors based on the results of the survey. The status and theoretical background were reviewed and brand strategy was examined. In the last part of the study, graphical factors of the domestic brand packages were analyzed and survey was conducted for a empirical study. The contents of the study are as follow. In chapter 1, the background, method and range of the study were proposed. In chapter 2, the status of domestic rice market and brands were examined. In chapter 3, the designs of representative rice brands was analyzed. In chpater 4, a survey was conducted to the consumers. Competitive and high-value rice brands should have competitiveness in the price, taste, quality, manufacturing background, and convenient package design as well. As imported and low-price rice brands are coming into the domestic market, the satisfaction and recognition by the consumers should be increased in order to secure the competitiveness since the consumers consider the taste of the rice as the most important factor.

ABSTRACT
The public spaces are integrated into the social and cultural activity of the community, bringing life to all aspects of the development. Especially open spaces and plazas should be planned and designed to build a strong sense of community, provide a sense of place, offer a wide-range of uses and activities, support transit options, well-integrated into existing communities, well-managed and programmed. Open space and plaza in city environment have many different scales and forms to provide social and cultural activities for citizens. This placemaking conditions and well organized city`s plaza and open space are revitalizing the towns, cities, and regions.

ABSTRACT
Today`s education should help children get ready for the world and create new things instead of making them accept what is given. Children`s originality and flexibility can be developed when they are educated intentionally in everyday life. Based on such education, children will develop creative and cognitive thinking. The brainstorming method presented in this study will help children to have original, flexible, and creative thinking always. Creation of ideas, conception of creative ideas is a first step not only toward design education but also toward creative process. In the process of increasing children`s creativity, design education is necessary as basic education to increase creativity and not to make them into artists. When we think of design as creative conception, educating children to conceive new ideas will help them have more creative thinking and the children receiving such education will become creative human resources. More specific and methodological research on creative education and the development of appropriate programs are needed to provide a better design education environment for children. The education to increase creativity is in the hands of adults who teach these children. If the adults can`t help them conceive creative ideas, we can`t expect them to develop creativity. Creative thinking appears when the limit of cognition and thinking is broken. The true purpose of creativity education lies in making the life of individuals and society `new and meaningful` by nurturing creative thinking abilities.

A study of Feminist Artists` self-portrait paintings on defense mechanism of self-healing elements - Emphasis on Frida Kahlo and Chun Kyung Ja`s paintings -

ABSTRACT
Many artists from every part of the world demonstrate how human beings are eager to express their feelings through their self-portraits. Creating a self-portrait generates more positive outputs than just giving an opportunity to reflect on themselves. It alleviates one`s hurtful feelings building such a powerful defense mechanism while working on their artworks. This study is to compare and contrast two feminist artists` self-portraits -Frida Kahlo and Chun Kyung Ja- to conclude that their art works are used as a tool for the self-healing. Their main themes in their artworks are defense mechanism - symbolization, conversion, and sublimation. Both artists were depressed with the pain of unhappy marriage life. This fact is commonly expressed in their self-portrait to overcome their spiritual scars. The main characters that they introduced frequently are flowers, butterflies, and snakes such animals. By painting those characters repeatedly, it cures their pain inside by symbolizing their unconscious pain to conscious meaningful self-healing. Whenever they feel the pain inside, they covert the pain in action by drawing as many self-portraits as they can. There are many drawings that expressed many thoughts about the agony and temptation of death. They put effort to sublime the pain through the paintings. There are many studies about art therapy being observed using art works as cure remedy as an example, however, it is very rare to introduce art therapy being observed as self cure composite through artists` creative art works. Thus, I strongly suggest looking into developing a program using art therapy in whole not only for artists` self-portrait skills.

A study on fashion and make-up trends

ABSTRACT
Total fashion means to create a harmonious images of dressing-up elements such as the trimmings, make-up, hairstyle, hats, shoes and accessories flexibly tuning to trends with an aesthetic sense of each age. This study is aimed to put the general fashion into an updated shape by researching clothes, and make-up that well reflect the recent trends of fashion and the collective notion of beauty. The purpose of this study is to understand the concept of trend and total fashion, and to follow their movement by interacting with the same trend. Fashion and make-up trends that were popular in Korea in the last five years were observed by categorizing them into spring/summer, and fall/winter groups. The research was conducted using Internet data, referring to related books, newspapers, magazines and preceding research results. As an outcome, Romanticism, Naturalism, Futurism and Retro were mainly recycled in Fashion and Makeup trend. The theme of the same trend seems to be expressed in different ways. I believe that they are under way to represent the same trend.

ABSTRACT
As the importance of brand community connecting brands and consumers, the current study analyzed activation factors and types of online brand community and the importance degree of influential factors on brand property. Brand community is getting interest from company as a communication way to approach consumers, as the importance of brand value increases. The study deduced community strategic factors such as leader`s passion, giving premium, establishment of unique concept and offline meeting through brand formation factors like three kinds of sharing consciousness, etiquette, regulations, tradition and sense of moral responsibility for consumers` perception process and successful strategic process through prediction factors such as agreement, brand fame and provision of interaction according to brand community types. This influences positive brand community operation for brand property as a positive influential factor on brand property in a company-initiated community. In addition, it will play an important role in brand image, brand loyalty and brand awareness through continuous visit by leading behavioral immersion in brands through online brand community.

The Characteristic of Formative Feature Shown in the Work of Roberto Capucci.

ABSTRACT
As the first designer, who designed dress with alive modeling, Roberto Capucci was the founder of Italian Altamoda. The purpose of this study is to research his work world by analyzing his sculptures by year. Its another purpose is to understand formative feature of Capucci`s work through the works of modern sculptor, Jean Arp. The study results are as follows. First, it can be explained as Biomophic image expressed in the sculptures of Jean Arp. Second, the use of experimental material, especially, pleats expresses architectural and geometrical design. Third, he displays various creative designs by recognizing dress as an artistic sculpture. Under the his creation ideology, `It is important to wear dress but it is more important to appreciate it as a formative art`, he expressed structural dress. The design of Roberto Capucci that embodies dress as sculpture image expresses his unique fashion world by reinterpreting emotional, extreme factors of Baroque age as geometrical forms within ideal beauty, balance and sense of Renaissance age and expressing formative beauty through unique technique.

ABSTRACT
We propose custom design model of emotional information as the way to give an impact on inducing thought and behavior positively from the conscious and the unconscious of human being. Especially, color information that has high visual recognition and the information of the color of sense that consists of personal psychological characteristics, in personal emotional information available for being applied to the reality, can be valued by the index of thought and workable behavior from the understanding of individual situation. Therefore, it can consist of custom information of the color of sense by analysis index of preference color and psychological characteristics through CRR color psychological test by Howard & Dorothy Sun and MBTI character type test based on Jung`s psychological theory. Accordingly, we divided MBTI types, which are made of the index of the main behaviors of human being, into applicable mentality and attitude in behavior and emotional psychological sides, and analyzed the meaning followed by the order of preference color for individual mental state through CRR test to analyze the correlation by correspondence analysis and frequency analysis for colors and psychological characteristics and reflect it on sustainable personal information of the color of sense. Sample survey to case study was made for the population of the trainees who participated in job capability development program to comprehend their present state and cope with the future flexibly. This study is meaningful in suggesting guideline for color emotional design method possible to design with harmonious balance of emotional, physical, psychology so that context design in which this environment and individual situation information are reflected can respond flexibly to changing with integration, convergence in many fields.

ABSTRACT
This study is based on the analysis of plane and space research of Peking Quadrangle which was the typical type of China`s traditional residence and Han-ok, the upper class dwelling of Seoul, grasping the ideological and cultural background of the traditional residence, as well as the characteristic, inter-community, diversity and mutual relationships of the two countries. By extracting the operating principles and methods of the traditional residence, and by suggesting the design principles which can be applied in contemporary apartment houses, this study shows the direction for both modernization and succession of the traditional housings. Korean apartment is designed based on openness & closeness, spatial continuity, flexibility and ecological application, while Chinese apartment on symmetry of plan, hierarchy, ornament, flexibility and ecological concept different from Korean application. This not only will be an inheritance and development of the traditional residential culture, but also supply a desirable example for the application of the traditional civilization of other regions.

ABSTRACT
No one would doubt that the individual growth is the most important engine to enhance the national competitiveness in the modern society. However, our children who are the root for the engine are being distressed by the problems arising from technology advancement and rapid social changes. The children who undergo severe stress physically or mentally are actually put in the scope to need art therapy. Nevertheless, even if they are mostly the children with a series of problems, they are put out of therapy for the reasons of shunning views and prejudice from the surroundings.From this view, the art education for sensitivity of pre-school children, which is helpful to develop a whole man should be emphasized and extended. In particular, the writer would like to inform that the clay with which one can feel tactile sensation by fumbling with hands to be able to freely express his own thought and feeling is the medium having effective possibility as a critical tool to develop new emotional ability and sensitivity. Therefore, the purpose of the study was to highlight how important and why the sensibility art education through clay medium is necessary so as to make use of it in the education field. To this end, it intended to study the education effect of emotional quotient and clay art education through related domestic and foreign documents, identify the teaching principles for current child art education by claim medium and suggest teaching plans.
