A Study on Cultural Contents Storytelling

ABSTRACT
Cultural contents are the form of storytelling. Storytelling is a subjective interpretation of a story, and it stylizes as movie, animation, and game. The cultural industry is a creation industry combining individual creativity and talent with traditional culture. The core of cultural contents is creative storytelling, and it may be necessary to understand cultural contents storytelling and establish its concept in terms of ensuring national competitiveness of the cultural industry. Therefore, this study established the concept of cultural contents storytelling that “the image(time_moment, space_existence) of intrinsic archetype becomes a prototype of self-organization after being reiterated, substituted, and transformed with an object in relative space-time" by diversely interpreting the basic structure of storytelling as Meta language ①schema ②topology ③relative space-time and ④fractal. It is expected that the archetype which is reorganized with the established concept may become product prototype.

ABSTRACT
Museum had been felt to boring and uninteresting space being blocked so on frame that is education being realized to second education space. Today, the exhibition may not succeed if museum educates visitor through exhibition, method may do outward appearance to visitor cramming method in exhibition. Today, visitor come to museum to spend leisure time. They want to emit various thing with joy through museum exhibits than education. Visitor come to rest or enjoy not that is come to educate. This study dive into the museum exhibition as communication space than museum exhibition as education space. Being beginning of communication that meaning of exhibit has better be passed to visitor effectively, this is that practical use of medium is following effective exhibition medium. It can divide by 2D, 3D, media and sound mediums. This Study is research to do theoretical study and case study about graphic panel and text in 2D medium that is popularized most. This may become theoretical foundation of exhibition graphic field that research result is less.

ABSTRACT
If we consider the importance of retail stores in distribution industry, it is urgent to raise marketing capacity including the promotion method, which can deliver familiarly their image to improve their competitiveness. The study considered mutual relation of quantity, their intrusiveness and recollection among key variables which affected meaningfully recollection and the clutter level of sign boards in retail stores and created these variables as independent variables to take consumers` recollection and the clutter level of sign boards in retail stores into account. The interaction effect between the increase of intrusiveness and exposure time in relation to the consumers` recollection level of sign boards in retail stores.

ABSTRACT
Nowadays, demand of media contents is increasing, so this paper propose of making the module for helping high quality multi-media contensts. The proposed module applied with Le Corebier`s "Golden Law of Modulor" could be a guide-line how to take motion-graphics, how to edit, how to set camera pointon and how to direct characters` moving. This paper is expected that when making media contents as UCC contents, it is difficult that UCC maker set camera position, direct character`s moving without any helps, but this module would make more comfortant to make media contesnts.

In the future contents (software) will rule hardware. Also, One-Source Multi-use, the cultural contents`s multi-circulation method will magnify the importance of industry Accordingly, this paper studies the culture`s notion and its original form`s meaning through theoretical backgrounds of cultural (original form)archetype, and investigates the original (traditional) form`s new progress through cultural significance and archetypal significance. This paper will look at how various media can be used to offer products to users. In the second section we will look at business trends with regards to depictions of traditional culture in modern digital media. We will look at how the current needs of business are driving and redirecting depictions of traditional culture.. I have arranged case studies of traditional culture making its way into the digital world with examples drawn locally and internationally and suggest the possible problems of exposing traditional culture to exploitation as simply creative raw material. Also this paper will consider carefully the problems and the revitalization method of bringing tradition into the digital business world. In conclusion I suggest ways to protect traditional culturalmaterial through the assistance systems and the exploitations of the modern digital world.

ABSTRACT
The industrial society develops really rapidly, and the shopping life of customers also changes along the changes of society. Customers take one`s lifestyle or the values of collective behavior as a method to express one`s personality and identity, and as the one to present one`s own personal features in various ways. Especially, in the field of image industry whose method is color or brand to express values, the companies create a new trend which goes well with social phenomenon focused on emotional thinking of customers, so that they can differentiate brand and create values. This research analyzes color aesthetics and brand preference of illustration, as the modem consumption pattern follows the rules of luxury trends. The research conducts the study based on the values of female`s consumption, their emotions, and their sense of trend. Moreover, it is the crossover phenomenon between normal function and human emotion and fusion phenomenon of oriental values and western values which did create new values, but this study could not deny the worries since these phenomenons did not remain for a long time. Therefore, this study sets a goal to create a new value which includes the meaning of originality and creativity, and conducts study based on subdivided tastes of modem people in order to create future-oriented synergy effect. The remarkable inclination which was deduced from this research is a new concept upon expressing personal characters and the preference of teenagers and twenties toward collective style trend. The young people tend to consume goods actively in various ways, and also are sensitive to the latest fashion. The brand which used famous celebrities as a model, aiming the young people who have dream of the celebrities, inspires them to have various kinds of propensity to consume, identity and personal features. The females` expressions of personal features are different upon their age. They deviate from traditional sense of values which admired existing values, regulations and morals, and pursue gratification of personal needs and personal sense of values. In addition, they prefer to follow behavior-oriented values like self-realization and satisfaction through color and brands, rather than expressing one`s social symbol.

A study on the change of typographical trend in newspaper design(Focused on the Korean newspaper)

ABSTRACT
Newspaper design, whose free visual expression was restrained due to an emphasis on a functional aspect of information conveyance, is changing. The improvement both on content and design became an inevitable necessity due to an emergence of on and off line media, which seems to threaten the existence of traditional newspaper. So far, despite the existence of fundamental characteristic differences between conservatives and progressives, no visual uniqueness (Identity) could have been found. However, with the emergence of factors like unconventional threats, unprecedented trend in newspaper design is appearing. Given the circumstances, we begin the analysis on the changing trends of newspaper design from the perspective of typography. More specifically, the analysis focuses on annual samples on domestic magazines from past to present that allows the observers to see the changing factors in the typographic factor such as text, paragraph and the grid system. Also, the analysis searches for factors in new trend that could not be found among past newspapers.

ABSTRACT
This study examines many other qualitative research methods during web design planning. And points out several problems concerning research process as well as the results. The most recently ZMET(Zaltman Metaphor Elicitation Technique) is developed in marketing area. ZMET is designed to elicit metaphors from participants that reveal the deeper ideas and concepts that organize and structure their thoughts and feelings about the topic. Children`s English education web site can be applied to ZMET method in case study. We try to identify and understand mothers` inner needs because mothers are the decision-makers who choose their children`s education material. The results of the experiment showed each mother`s subconscious needs. Therefore, ZMET might be effective qualitative research method to understand the underlying people`s needs.
