ABSTRACT
The driving force of the 21st century comes from the diverse media, among which the mass media including the Internet have had huge impacts on the nature of living space and popular culture. Being the subject of this study, EPIC 2015 is personal Internet broadcasting that`s been rapidly emerging as a new medium. It`s similar to the old broadcasting formats in that the scope of its viewer participation is wide and it`s a visual medium. At the same time, however, it`s qualitatively different from them in that it delivers a good amount of realistic images real time. Arguing that there had been fundamental changes to the structure of social life, Baudrillard maintained that there was a request for a series of mutual contrasts between personal life and public life or the subjective ego and the objective world in the past and that the contrasts were actually created between them. But in the new world, according to him, those relations grew weaker, and the subject and object became equal equivalents that were exchangeable with each other. He found in the screen a metaphor for the collapseof the dichotomy between the subjectand object. The screen shows the delicate interfaces of our desires and reenactments and embodies the world of our psychology. What appears on the screen is not actuallylocated on the screen or inside us but exists in a rather complicated and always virtual space between the screen and us. The space is so-called "Simulation." It`s estimated that EPIC will have enormous influences in the future as a new medium to maximize such a concept and to go beyond the time and space limitations. The study analyzed EPIC 2015, a new medium, from the perspective of Baudrillard and took an academic approach to reviewing the consequently changing society.

ABSTRACT
In 1970, Newman. Oscar asserted the reason of the crime`s occurrence was caused by the criminal`s personal characteristics as well as physical environments of dwelling In his `Defensible Space`. But the contention was off on the circumstances against the diversity and violence of present`s urban crimes. Recently, although the prevention of crime got anywhere with the introduction of CPTED :Crime Prevention Through Environmental Design)widely, the research as prevention`s crime has been requested by the way of versatile and colligated. Urban safety has been significantly interfered with the increase of urban crime rates in recent years, which has been thought to be the result of the loss of urban settlement`s identity. As cities are regarded as complex system, urban crime is believed to occur with many complex reasons, such as social, economical and spatial relationship as well as criminal`s very personal ones. There are three major reasons of having very close relation with the occurrence of urban crime. Firstly the social ones, such as the degree of law enforcement, the pattern of household and the degree of community-ship, Secondly the economical reasons, such as the degree of a region`s economic viability, a regional community`s wealth and poverty, and the value of each building property. Finally the spatial reasons, such as the configuration of space structure, land use, road type, road access, each building`s safety protection. With the quantification of each factor`s effect on crime rate, it is possible to clarity the mechanisms of the three major factors, in which process of analysis new modelling method of space configuration will be developed. In this study, based on the quantification and clarification of research and field study, find out the spatial factors for development of urban crime prediction program that can show crime rates by regional, community and building scale.

ABSTRACT
It is not the overstatement if we say that the most remarkable change in 21st century is the development of the internet. As the development of the internet service and digital machines (digital camera, cell phone camera etc.), recently, amateur is becoming to be able to participate to mass culture at online with own`s personality and image. In general, the contents at web is used to be produced with masses things which are able to manifest personality and style which oneself has. We could find that today`s contents at web has lots of common things with the pop art which is born in 1950s against the high class arts. but I thought that except appreciating of the pop art authors, participating to pop art oneself is the different point between the pop art after where the digital culture is developed and traditional pop art. In this report, I want to know that in what kind of method the pop art should have been applied to the current user and how the pop art should effect to next digital contents with analysis of the pop art elements in digital contents at web.

JEWNR 19(0) 391-401, 2008 |
ABSTRACT
In 21st century, creativity is a global topic of conversation among enterprises. Samsung electronics puts up creative management as it`s motto and the chairman of LG companies makes clear his view about talented individuals by saying "Creative thinking is more important than professional expertise to a talented person." Now the world is on the age of limitless competition that uninventive products cannot survive. This makes it required that the paradigm for training talented individuals till now should be reconsidered at the design field. `Where does creativity come from?` As a designer you may have a worry about the poverty of creativity. Once people thought that individual creativity cannot be educated. But the theory like TRIZ which has traced a pattern of brain thinking process shows that a certain regular principle is immanent on innovative creativity and presents the way of using the principle. TRIZ has started from data analysis of outcomes invented by engineering. Functions and roles of today`s extended industrial design is overlapped with the most part of engineering concepts. Therefore, this research studies TRIZ theory which is recently rising, analyses it`s effect and possibility as the creative method of innovative product developing and also considers how it can be used for design education.

JEWNR 19(0) 403-412, 2008 |
ABSTRACT
Our country has put tattoos under a taboo. Injuring bodies inherited from parents has been recognized as blasphemous and they were used as a means to punish criminals. However, as post modern thoughts appeared in many areas of our society in late 20th century, existing recognition changed and more attention has been given to bodies, various forms of art relating to bodies appeared. Among them, tattoos that have been recognized as distrust and hatred to our society began to have been recognized as positive because of popular stars and are accepted as a new cultural behavior by mass psychology to imitate their fashion, ornaments, and behaviors. So tattoos become recreational rather than a form of resistance against class and generation that was a cultural property of tattoos. So their negative recognition was substituted by positive recognition of an artistic form that expresses internal image of people targeting human bodies. And, as various community groups that were generated along with emergence of new technology of internet network and multi-media accepted fandom actively, tattoos is becoming a central subject of new sub-culture creation of the 21st century.

ABSTRACT
The period of the Three States` gold crowns are a historical and an aesthetic material. It`s Korea`s representative crafts that show culture, religion, spirit and also racial characteristics. The symbolism represents formative beauty, its elements and symmetry embodying the spiritual world. The shape of each Three Countries` Gold Crowns were developed with their own unique religious idea, aspect and culture, combined with their own mythology and shows some similarity. In Goguryeo`s Gold Crowns, we can see very elegant curves with patterns like arabesque, clouds, dragon and phoenix, using the bratticing technique. In Baekjae`s Gold Crowns, it has a peaked hat shape with a decorated flowering plant pattern. In Silla`s Gold Crown, the frames are 山 shapes (Chinese character meaning mountain) as well as antler shapes. They are decorated with half moon shaped jades. Silla`s Gold Crown follow the rule of symmetry. I want to make close analysis of the inner spirits of Gold Crowns and derive from the aesthetic aspects. I want to lay the groundwork for Korean ornament culture.
