ABSTRACT
The modern society has increasingly put emphasis on cultural contents due to development of various media and much cultural exchanges. Therefore, each country has been promoting its own policy of cultural promotion. A character, among them, is getting the spotlight as an important theme of cultural contents. A combination of character industry and culture can be considered as a content that creates emotional ties to the public and provides pleasure. Therefore, development of cultural contents of characters is deemed as a means of national promotion as well as a long-term global business. It is significantly important to seek vitalization of various businesses and contents industries by maximizing the concept of One Source Multi Use in characters. Recently, a domestic character market promotes the global strategy through various media, such as character goods, animation, online games, etc, using the strategy of One Source Multi Use. As a result, consumers have increased preference on characters and usefulness of goods and market share have been increased, which promotes vitalization of domestic/overseas character markets. This study attempted to identify a future direction of development of characters as well as a direction of creating characters by researching the effect of One Source Multi Use on the degree of a consumer`s character preference

A study on the design of cosmetics package for teenage male youth

ABSTRACT
Because of the improvement of economic standard and effects of entertainers such as Korean wave star, etc. in Korea, men`s interests in appearance are increased and expenses investing beauty are increased day by day. For the social phenomenon, the demand of cosmetics for teenage male youth must be increased. But, there is neither material nor academic study which can support it, so this study was conducted. This study firstly analyzed social phenomenon focusing on appearance, grasped preference and skin characteristics of teenage male youth, investigated color, container form and quality of cosmetics for them through the survey of about 200 teenage male youth and drew the results. Also, it prepared the guide of following studies by grasping problems and limitations of study through the survey.

Universal Fashion for the Visually Impaired Persons - Design Development of Woman Casual Jumper -

ABSTRACT
Despite the number of visually impaired persons is increasing, the research about the life pertaining to clothes and clothing for the visually impaired persons was rare compared to the life pertaining to clothes and clothing for other disabled due to the recognition of their free physical movement, and despite the highly dangerous in daily life, the clothes design for the visually impaired persons was narrow with corresponding to the poor development of clothes design for their characteristics. The purpose of this research is to improve the environment of the life pertaining to clothes and clothing that accompanies another obstacle to the blind based on the universal fashion design concept developed universal design that illustrated `design for all` as a slogan, and developed the design by selecting the woman casual outside jumper as the developing item considering the situation of the visually impaired persons who are possible to expose the danger in outside more than inside. For this, it is to define the present and necessary elements of life pertaining to clothes and clothing, and define the concept and characteristics of universal fashion design as fair in use, flexibility in use, safely-oriented, affordability, and accessibility based on the universal design. The guideline for the product development was established as the standard of PPP (Product Performance Program) of Nakagawa Satoshi for practice and assessment of universal concept, and developed the jumper design for the visually impaired persons based on this standard.
The developed item is a casual jumper for women suitable for spring, autumn or winter. This research adopted as a concept the 2012`s trend `City Outdoor Look` to supply the equality that enables a visually impaired person wearing it not to be distinguished from other normal people. This research did not realize only the flexibility of universal fashion by adding elements whose size and design can be adjusted according to the wearer`s preference or ability but also the safety of it by the design to make safe physically and psychologically the wearer against the risk of walking at night. In addition, this research pursued supportability of enabling the wearer to put on and take off it easily with detailed elements of clothes by considering visually impaired people`s characteristics. Finally, this research sought accessibility with the pattern which enables them to percept information of clothes easily or to which fitness was applied.
The developed universal fashion like the above is the design for the function of protection them from the possible danger as well as completion of esthetic desire to satisfy even small discomfortable in which the visually impaired person is suffering, and it is suggesting the development of prototype and the evaluation of exterior elements as the future research.

Analysis of Clothes Coloration Preferences, Personalities and Fashion Leaderships in Adult Man - Based on the Demographic Factors -

ABSTRACT
This study tried to know the clothes coloration preference, personality and the degree of fashion leadership targeting the man group over age of 20.
The Criterion of demographic factor is consisted of age, marital status, academic background, occupation, monthly income, residential district and fashion interest. Clothes color preference could be defined stimulus picture combined shirts with tie and semantic differential scales measuring accordingly response, personality measurement used 16 characteristics factors which was suggested by Cattel, R.B. and fashion leadership and confidence measurement was consisted of questions which was used by Shim S, Kotsiopulos, A.,Knoll, D.S. Respondents was targeting 432 adult man residing at Seoul, Gyeonggi district and Pusan, Gyeongnam district, and data analysis was using SPSS 13.0 statistical package.
The meaningful difference was indicated with degree of clothing color preference, personality and fashion leadership between groups according to demographic factors in adult man. In differentiating various characteristics of adult males, age, marital status, academic background, occupation, and monthly income were found to be important variables. It was shown that there is no difference in clothes coloration preferences, personality characteristics, fashion leaderships according to residential district.

A Study on Jacket Pattern for Unusual Body Type

ABSTRACT
The purpose of this study is to allow women with big breast to possibly have the neat fit given wearing one-button tailored collar jacket.
The used material was utilized muslin with less flexibility in order to accurately grasp silhouette.
An experimental method was selected 2 subjects with big breast.
First, the dart amount was adjusted. Second, it increased the dimension of bust measurement in the front panel, and then adjusted finally the B.P point downwardly. First, the front length was adjusted by increasing darts in one-button tailored collar jacket by 1cm with 2.5cm, 3,5cm, 4.5cm. The pattern, which increased the front length by 4.5㎝, in both subjects A and B, was indicated to have the best fit.
Second, the widened collar roll line was revised by expanding the bust dimension of the front panel by 0.5cm with 0.5cm, 1㎝, 1,5cm in order to modify the insufficient front-panel bust measurement, as the pattern that increased the front length by 4.5㎝. Out of the corrected experimental clothes, what increased the bust measurement of the front panel by 1.5㎝ in subject A and what increased the bust measurement of the front panel by 1㎝ in subject B were modified the widened level of collar roll line, thereby having shown the stable style.
Third, it revised B.P, which was established highly for subjects with big breast, downward to 3㎝ and 4㎝, with the pattern of having increased the front-panel bust measurement by 1.5㎝ as for subject A and with the pattern of having increased the front-panel bust measurement by 1㎝ as for subject B. Both subjects A and B were selected the pattern with a fall by 3㎝ as the final pattern.

ABSTRACT
This study for the brand mark over the current trademark law in determining whether the similarity of appearance, the title, as a visual representation of ideas in design, appearance confine a more objective approach was to seek ways.
The final evaluation model based on quantitative data of the existing judicial decisions logically, qualitative analysis through comparison with the screening decision on verification issues in the recognition and consistency as a screening measure of decision and judgment based on the results of objective evidence as a qualified will be able to play a role.
Similar criteria of the brand, particularly in the consumer`s position stated in the current trademark law, ie, overall, objective, an objective yardstick for yigyeokjeok observation in order to give brand mark on the form of empirical psychological research has been developed.
Subjects in research methods through an intuitive recognition of the morphological structure of the brand due to differences in their ability to test each element and accordingly quantified by assigning weights to propose efficient criteria.

Analysis of `Mak-Jang` TV drama actress hair styles - Mainly in the type of anger expression -

ABSTRACT
The purpose of this study is to analyze hair style of female performers expressing anger in various conflict structures in `Mak-Jang` drama which becomes a center of dispute in Korean dramas recently and examine how hair style is expressed by the tendency of character.
6 dramas which are disputed as `Mak-Jang` drama by more than 20% of press, which were broadcasted after 2000s were selected. Based on the homepage of related broadcasting station, synopsis of drama and character of dramatics personae were grasped, about 10 female performers which are in the center of conflict and anger expression of each drama were selected and their hair style was analyzed.
As a result, female characters to express anger in conflict situations, the types of passive attacks, and most common type of shame, and then an unpredicted type, paranoid type, depression types appeared. And the analysis and comparison of hair style images by the type of anger expressed of female characters in `Mak-Jang` drama, length, cut shapes, colors, rather than the elements according to the wave shape and texture could represent the characteristics of their character.
Therefore, hair style of performers heightens the understanding of characteristics and causes sympathy, so it plays a role to express internal and external parts for background, social status, emotional status, values, etc. of character.
