The Relationship between Value Recognition of Exercise and Healthcare Footwear Design Element for Children

ABSTRACT
Background Parents have the right to make decisions about purchasing supplies for infants and children. Therefore, parents' perceptions, thoughts, and values are very important factors in determining the purchase of children's products. The purpose of this study was to investigate how the perception of the value of exercise of parents has on the factors that determine the design of children's health care shoes.
Methods The purpose of this study is to establish the hypotheses based on the previous studies and to apply the empirical analysis method to verify the hypotheses. First, the data were collected through questionnaires and the collected data were verified using SPSS statistical analysis method. For statistical analysis, reliability analysis, factor analysis, correlation analysis, and regression analysis were conducted. Result As a result of the factor analysis, design factors of children's health care shoe are aesthetics, symbolism, physicality, ergonomics, and environmental friendliness. Second, parental perception of the child's exercise has a positive effect on aesthetic, physical, and ergonomic characteristics.
Conclusion From a practical point of view, parents regard the aesthetics, ergonomics, and physicality as important factors in designing a child's health care shoe. From an academic point of view, we have attempted to develop a scientific approach to the development of children's shoes when the expansion of markets or the importance of new market development is emphasized.

A Comparative Analysis of Korean, Chinese and Japanese Parents' Perceptions for Design Elements of Children's Health Care Footwear

ABSTRACT
Background In the case of the overall shrunk shoe industry, as the demand for functional shoe in domestic and foreign markets increases, the development efforts of the industry and academic researches are steadily increasing. Nevertheless, there are rarely studies related to systematic research or design or design elements to enter the overseas market. In this study, we developed a design element which is an important part in the development of functional shoes, and developed a healthcare footwear for children suitable for the East Asian market by comparing and evaluating the perceptions of consumers in Korea, China and Japan I want to use it as data.
Methods The purpose of this study is to compare the perceptions of Korean, Chinese, and Japanese parents about the design elements of children's health care footwear. In this study, hypotheses were set based on previous research, data were collected from Korea, China and Japan through questionnaires, SPSS statistical analysis. Statistical analysis was performed by correlation analysis, variance analysis, and cross analysis.
Result The hypothesis that there is a difference in the degree of the health care shoe design element of the children recognized by the parents of Korea, China, and Japan is all adopted. The hypothesis that the importance of children's health care shoe design elements perceived by parents of Korea, China, and Japan will be different was adopted.
Conclusion Korean parents are more concerned about design elements than Japan and China. In addition, it is necessary to develop products that reflect the tendency of the market to enter, because there is a difference in the importance of children's health care shoe design elements perceived by parents of Korea, China and Japan.

ABSTRACT
Background Influencing the quality of life of the elderly population is freedom of movement. it's main cause is social isolation resulting from safety problems and communication space in traffic and gait environment and information due to social isolation due to the expansion of smart devices. At present, there is no consideration of the elderly population in urban design and public design in the country. and the alienation of the aged population affects their quality of life.
Methods The purpose of this study is to basic direction of Age-friendly city design through actual-experience, surveys and workshops. It base on inconveniences of the elderly and the images and ideas of city for future. Result As result of a survey of research, the content main is safety and in streets and parks. In the walking environment, it is urgent to review and improve the contact points with the vehicles such as pedestrian crossings and intersections. the park needs to design differentiated of public users.
Result of the expert workshop, it recognized that the problems of alienation and urban use in the urban environment, the problem of urban functioning, and the problem of disconnecting communication with city information were the biggest problems.
Conclusion Currently, the main generation of design development is young, and they have limited realistic predictions about aging. A new 'customized design' is needed for the park, which is a place for communication in order to overcome the problems of walking environment and safety in parks and alienation.

Types of perception on the body shape of the early 20's female

ABSTRACT
Background In modern society, as economic development and social activities of women become generalized, appearance has become the social competitiveness of individual. The purpose of this study is to analyze the subjective evaluation of how to shape oneself in the early 20s through the Q methodology. In the early 20s, I would like to understand the perception of body shape and classify the type of cognitive figure. The purpose of this study is to provide the basic data necessary for the development of clothing that can improve the satisfaction of the body contour by considering type's characteristics.
Methods This study used Q methodology. The Q population included all opinions related to the body shape of women in their early 20s and the P sample was selected from 20 P samples. For the Q analysis, a QUANL pc program was used.
Result In the early 20s, the type of female figure was analyzed as 5 types. Lower body development bending forward shape have thick thigh and ankle. And the lower body is developed, and the body is leaning forward. A big fat body with a big chest and a hip have a big chest and hip. The flat rectangle has a small difference between the waist and hip. The tall ladder body is tall, the chest is small, and the hip circumference is large. Lower body development obesity body is thicker thighs and calves, upper and lower belly protruding.
Conclusion In the early 20s, considering the awareness of the body shape of women, it is possible to develop a positive change in body shape through the development of clothing design and pattern that can cover the shortcomings of the figure and highlight its merits by providing basic data for making clothes.

The Effect of Attractiveness of Alternatives perceived by college students in Social Commerce Fashion Products Market on Switching Intention - Focusing on Moderating Effect of Relational Benefits -

ABSTRACT
Background This study targeted college students who have experience of purchasing goods in social commerce fashion products market among college students majoring in fashion related major who will advance to relevant industry as a group of major customers of social commerce with intensifying competition to examine the influence of attractiveness of alternatives perceived by them to switching intention and the and to see if the influence differs by the relational benefits.
Methods The study conducted survey for 16days from September 10 to 25, 2017, distributed 330 copies of questionnaire, and used total 284 copies for final valid samples.
Result First, it was confirmed that attractiveness of alternatives perceived by college students affected switching intention positively. Next, among the subcategories of relational benefits, economic benefits was confirmed to moderate the influence of attractiveness of alternative to switching intention. Social benefit, confidence benefit or special treatment benefit did not moderate the influence of attractiveness of alternative to switching intention. However, they were confirmed to operate as independent variables lowering the switching intention by directly affecting negatively to switching intention.
Conclusion Thus, there is a need to consider a measure to occupy comparative advantage by comparing with alternatives in order to prevent switching intention of customer to increase in social commerce fashion products market. Also, social commerce businesses must enhance the social benefit like community activities among consumers other than product sales, special treatment benefit like mileage service or additional service for frequent customers to improve consumer trust, and enhance confidence benefit like security and hacking or economic benefit to reduce switching intention.

Implementing Video Content on Top-Down Floating Hologram Device

ABSTRACT
Background The commercially available hologram device is designed for a unidirectional floating hologram that makes the image appear to be floating in the air using one- or up to four-sided half mirrors through a single expression panel. It features a limited size of image content shown on an expression panel, and as the number of half mirrors increases, the size of video content visible to views decreases. If it is needed to create a larger image content, the unidirectional floating hologram device must be enlarged, consequently revealing the spatial limitation of the unidirectional floating hologram.
Methods This study aims to design a top-down floating hologram device in a bid to reduce the spatial limitation of the currently commercially available unidirectional floating hologram, identify whether or not image content is properly implemented and to find ways to overcome the spatial limitation accordingly.
Result To design a top-down floating hologram device, two expression panels have been placed on top and the bottom, making them face each other with image contents are divided into top and the bottom before they are shown. The image shown is reflected on the eight-sided half-mirror, which is created by arranging two half mirrors of unidirectional floating hologram device with up to four sides to face each other on top and the bottom. Arranging the expression media in identical size and half mirrors on top and the bottom combines the reflected images on top and the bottom and makes them appear to be a single image.
Conclusion The top-down floating hologram device doubles the height and maintains the area when doubling the size of the image to be shown, thereby reducing the spatial limitation.

A Study on the Design Method for Improving Usability of Fire Extinguisher with REBA Technique Used

ABSTRACT
Background Quantitative increase and qualitative improvement of fire extinguishing systems have continued to be done. However, the number of fires has not decreased still now. Therefore, this researcher tries to seek the design plan that can reduce fires..
Methods The study is arranged focusing on experiments. First, supposing its is a fire, the whole process that general users extinguish the fire by using fire extinguishers is videotaped. The video which is shot is analyzed with REBA, the ergonomic analytical tool. And the analyzed data is divided into 5 phases of extinguishment and a guideline for design improvement is suggested.
Result Phase 1, it's the stage to grasp a fire extinguisher with your hand. The appropriate height of the fire extinguisher can be set to reduce the excessive load that occurs in the process to hold it suddenly. Phase 2, it's the stage to separate the fire extinguisher. A support is installed or wheels are attache to the body of the fire extinguisher to make the height appropriate. Phase 3, it's the stage to transport the fire extinguisher. The gross weight of the fire extinguisher must not exceed 2kg. If it is inevitable to exceed 2kg, the hose length of the fire extinguisher must be extended to a limited extent or fire extinguishing agent must reach long distances. Phase 4, it's the stage to remove a safety pin. A wrist must not forcedly be twisted and excessive load must not occur in limbs by making the safety pin a button. But, the button must easily be identified. Phase 5, it's the stage to spray the fire extinguishing agent. The handle is designed to be stable or make pressure increase slowly to reduce instant load due to blow of compressed gas.
Conclusion If the results in the study as above are reflected in arranging new designs of fire extinguishing systems, it is thought that they can make a contribution to reduce casualties and property damage.

A Study on The Typology for Fonts Identification - Focusing on The difference element in shape of Hangul font -

ABSTRACT
Background By font design program, the number of fonts has increased, and its shape is diversifying. Search for the fonts desired by users is to search for fonts uploaded by individuals or companies on the Web. other words there is little to search for the fonts desired by users.
Methods Theoretical considerations have validated the possibility of type classification being able to search and utilize fonts. I have presented the criteria for identifying fonts, And representative characters and elements that differentiate between shapes. In addition, the difference element in shape were applied to Hangul fonts, and the scope of the study was to search for the fonts.
Result The criteria for type classification for font search are presented. (27 elements and 24 representative letters) tests were carried out based on the results. There were one element of contact with each of the 25 fonts, and the result was divided into three types. 361 expression symbols were selected and 8 san-serif fonts were selected for identification verification. A result the same type of font was identified in eight different types. Finally, I presented five font search methods.
Conclusion Two verification results for font identification have shown that the identification is possible by immediately responding to fonts produced exponentially. Font search system is available for efficient search and utilization study of the font search system should be handled more elaborately in subsequent papers. continuous study and font search systems can be implemented for font shapes.

Branding Strategies of Korean Ceramics using Chunghwa techniques

Background Korean ceramics have improved their quality of process, but luxury Korea ceramic brand is still not to emerge as the absence of creative techniques or design. The aim of this study is to promote the commercialization of Korean ceramics by converting traditional Chunghwa techniques into new Chunghwa techniques independently.
Methods Based on research methods, I analyzed the ceramic products of Europe and Korea brands using Chunghwa techniques and pursued the commercialization of the Korean ceramics products market.
Result Through the analysis of Europe and Korea brands, which utilizes Chunghwa techniques, two strategies were presented. First, the brand differentiation was presented through the brand new Chunghwa color spectrum. This is the strategy of developing independent Chunghwa techniques using traditional techniques and redefining traditional decorative skills. Second, this is the strategy of brand service through public education programs and collection guide using brand new Chunghwa technique.
Conclusion The study conducted the possibility of Chunghwa as a traditional materials and new techniques for commercializing Korean luxury ceramic brand. Using the standout techniques of Chunghwa, I have concluded Korean luxury ceramic branding strategies that suits future customers' sensibility. Subsequent studies should require more in-depth experimenting with Chunghwa's various colors.

ABSTRACT
Background In East Asia, paper manufacturing has been independently developed based upon the usage and taste, or culture and natural characteristics, so that the paper making companies have been growing according to the influential relationships with surrounding countries. However, modern paper manufacturing of Korea faces the reality of losing traditional method due to the distribution of improved manufacturing technology newly adopted into Korea as part of Japan’s colonial era policy. This research focuses on Korea’s history, manufacturing and plastic feature of traditional paper that are losing thrust in modern society compared to Japan’s Washi, which inevitably influenced the Korean paper regarding modern history. Therefore, it tries to expand the base of Hanji, the Korean paper, by contributing to the succession of tradition and development of paper.
Methods Through the experiment of dyeing ability of paper, we examine the characteristics of traditional paper of Korea and Japan through the relation between paper strength and dyeability, and the difference of how paper is being floated. In the dyeing experiment, we calculated the color difference values according to time, concentration, temperature, pH and fixative by extracting dye from the onion skin. Then, we look into the differences and characteristics of Korean paper and Washi through the dyeing characteristics of each paper.
Result The machine paper containing a small amount of acidic pulp contains a large amount of lignin component compared with the paper with 100% of mulberry, so that the amorphous area is increased, resulting excellence in dyeing ability due to penetration of the dye through hydrolysis reaction is easy. Twin style traditional Washi, compared to single style traditional Korean paper, resulted in having higher coloring power. This seems to be due to the increased possibility of extended amorphous regions as the fiber could be multi-directed to increase the coloring power. Also, it shows that Korean paper has lower coloring power but higher strength compared to Washi. Therefore, it was the difference of paper manufacturing technique which resulted in the relationship between strength of paper and dyeing, and the appearance of strength-related characteristics.
Conclusion Washi contains higher coloring power compared to Korean paper, but with respect to strength, Korean paper excels. Korean paper and Washi became noticeable with their eco-friendly properties and with their characteristics of antibiosis, deodorizing, air permeability and hygroscopic property, they are frequently used as building and organic materials. Korean paper and Washi are neutral paper and can withstand 1,000 years. It is difficult for western pulp paper to pass over 100 years because it is acidic. Therefore, lots of interest are focused in paper created by mulberry to recover historical documents but it is disappointing that most of them are Washi. It is notable that it is necessary to know and improve the advantages and disadvantages of the strength of Korean paper and the high coloring power of Washi in the utilization of traditional fiber.
