Content Analysis and Usability Evaluation of Breastfeeding Educational Information Websites

ABSTRACT
Development and research about web-based health educational program recently have been studied for improvement in effectiveness of health training. Especially health information through internet come into the spotlight because of its accessibility and interest induction. And globally web-based educational sites has been increased because of their advantage which can distribute and exchange the information using communication technology.
However, studies on cyber breastfeeding educational program for health research are rarely found in Korea. Breastfeeding education is the first step for the promotion of health of postpartum women and babies. For the utilization of internet in this field, we found a web-design method for successful embodiment of breastfeeding educational websites using content analysis and usability test of the existing websites.

ABSTRACT
Information density in the city space is getting higher and co-existing public information is also getting diverse and its quantity has been grown. The quality of city space would be judged by its efficiency in the economic behaviour rather than traditional function of cities. In this context, public transport has been urged to get over the traditional advantages of private transport. The present year of 2007, city-coverage-rate in South Korea is getting near 90.5%. This means each cites have to bear its own identity to push up the economic development. The needs to use public transport getting higher and this is nothing to do with the condition of private financial situation. This initiative drives urgent needs to enhance design management system for public transport and this action could be make symbolic image of city space. To find out the optimal solution for generating authentic city image and identification, the first step would be set up the integrated public transport design management system. TfL(Transport for London) could be the yardstick to set up this research for its high applied-usage-rate in worldwide. Finally, this research proposes the systematic approach for general purpose manual of public transport design system.

ABSTRACT
Consumers consciousness about environment is increasing. LOHAS peoples are increasing, and do so that magnify a business opportunity and effect through eco-friendly design in corporation.
Eco-friendly design research is continued constantly. But, most eco-friendly design research is not studied from design point. These researches are achieved in engineering. Designer`s area is magnified and responsibility is accompanied. Designer`s role becomes important gradually.
But design research for environment is not lively in design viewpoint. Also, because the studies are fragmentary, is not considered in whole process.
Eco-friendly design should be handled from synthetic viewpoint, and It is impossible to do designer individually. It should be gone by team composition with necessarily several specialists.
Therefore, I developed process product life cycle design for environment that this research is different from process that designers common progress. I arranged concept and method of life cycle design in design viewpoint. Extend of life cycle design is from team composition to process of production. And these are achieved with environment life cycle assesment.
I classified life cycle design process by 7 phases and consisted of step of team composition and plan, target product choice, preliminary environmental assessment, design strategy, design development, environmental assessment, design and production.
I studied angle about main propulsion method and consideration item and assessment criteria step by step.

ABSTRACT
The Korea`s shipbuilding industry has been ranked the world best based on the amount of orders and technology. And it is the representative industry in our country in part of the earning foreign exchange and the employment. In 2008, the total export amount of it($431hundred million ) took the first place for the first time, in advance of automobile, semiconductor.
The Korea`s shipbuilding industry is the first place according to all parts of the industrial indicators. Moreover, Korea has the 7 shipyards of the world top 10s. In spite of those positions as a shipbuilding powerhouse, our design contribution to it is significantly small compared to that of other industries. Especially, the basic design technology for a ship development merely exists.
In Europe, the shipbuilding industry already succeeded in transfer from the commercial vessels to the high-valued marine ships. Also the participation of design is magnificent in the part of cruise and ships for leisure.
It is well-known that, compared to developing technology, design industry could reinforce competitive advantage of products in short period with less expense.
Therefore I think there must be cooperation with design industry in shipbuilding industry for high-value-added.
This research is limited to small ships` exterior and it is about the design process for dull form considering the characteristics of ship-forming. I analyzed the flow of dull forms in shipbuilding industry part comparing the process of problem-solution in design part. And then I suggested the design process for a dull form of small vessels.

A Content Analysis of Ad Information, Creative Strategies and Creative Elements of Local Government`s Print Advertisements

ABSTRACT
The study purpose is to analyze creative elements and strategies of advertising campaigns of local governments and to suggest proper measures to improve public relations marketing communications effects. 250 ads in newspapers and magazines were sampled from for the content analysis with 41 analysis items in five categories including advertising appeal, creative strategy, advertising model, information content, and creative style.
As results, local government advertising are in large informational in that they try to deliver information about cultural tourism goods or investment industry attraction through direct headlines in realistic visuality. This demonstrated that advertising for local self-government are rather simple in that they tend to provide information, but do not seem to take much into accounts local characteristics in their creative development. The study results suggest that local government ads need to be much improved to differentiate from the competitors and to contribute more to what`s required in attaining the overall marketing communication goals.

Recently, the concern of environmental energy in architectural planning has been strongly increased, changing society to important our environment. Especially, light has the role of our main body in whole life, the research of light control penthouse will be needed for comfortable and pleasant human life.
There are various types of light control penthouse like as curtain, blind and ultraviolet glass for better energy saving controlling of incident light into interior. Penthouse is one of the most easiest and efficient method and effective system to apply to commercial building.
In this research, on the basis of awning among of the penthouse, I will analyse the strength and value of light in various aspects. So take out-coffee brand shop located in Kwangju which I analyzed the basic function and role and application value and possibility. According to the case study, light control penthouse, awning had the application value for energy efficient aspect in many ways as well as the practical application for light control at day and night, promotional and various.
Now the most important thing is to right recognition and necessity of awning, especially as the light control device, penthouse. And the effect of awning is to conjugate. In future, it will be studied the subsequent research for the penthouse` effective and applicative method in energy saving.

A Characteristic of the Preference about the Planning Elements for Ubiquitous Home Based on Lifestyle

ABSTRACT
The purpose of this study was to extract the preference about planning elements for aging-friendly ubiquitous home based on lifestyle. Research methods were literatures review and web survey. The subjects were the fifty and sixty. The results of this study were as follows. First, it was found eight lifestyles according to physical, economy and social state of surveyed people. Type 8 which was the lowest physical, economy and social state people was found to have the highest percentage in eight lifestyle types. Second, the results of the demands on planning elements for ubiquitous home based on lifestyle type were security, gas leakage perception, fire control, automatic washing, health check, air-conditioning control, intelligent bathtub, automatic cleaning, intelligent sport outfits, home instrument remote control as in order. Third, the results of the demands on planning elements for ubiquitous home in the living room, ventilation control was found the highest demand. Air-conditioning control was found the most demand in the bedroom, cooking support was found the highest demand in the kitchen, height control washstand was found the most demand in the bathroom, security was found the highest demand in the entrance. Finally, there were differences in needs according to surveyed people`s lifestyle type. It should be considered in planning of the elderly-friendly ubiquitous home and prepared with individualized strategies for the elderly.

Effects of PPL Creative Styles on the Consumer Attitudes in online UCC

ABSTRACT
UCC recently became a popular topic in the internet business. This study tried to examine the effects of PPL in on-line UCC with particular focus on how its styles affect the consumer attitudes. After asking subjects to watch UCC manufactured with the identical environmental and contents and visual, aural, and audio-visual PPL elements inserted, an attempt was made to investigate users` attitudes toward UCC and PPL products(recollective reaction, attitude toward products, purchase intention) in term of involvement in PPL products.
The results of the study showed that, as for attitudes toward UCC by different PPL expression styles, the audio-visual expression style showed higher satisfaction with UCC than other groups. But there was no significant difference among PPL expression styles in terms of recollective reaction and purchase intention. And the audio-visual group showed more positive attitudes toward products than visual or aural group. There were interactive effects between PPL expression style and the attitude toward products, but no such effects were observed for purchase intention.
