| Abstract |
| Performance is combined with technology and closely related to development of media because it is based on convergence and experiment among genres and forms.
Especially, contemporary performance art is expanded by combination with digital media and enters new phase with development of visual representation.
This research focuses on analyzing characteristic of digital media performance through case study(Palindrome < Jenseits der Schatten >, Troika Ranch < 16 [R]evolutions >, Stelarc < Exoskeleton >, Dumb Type < Memorandum >, Second Front < The Last Supper >) < The Fourth Discontinuity >, and sound-visual media performances, which are SFX, SoundalaArt, 문 Gallery Biumm performance where the researcher participated and deriving its significance. |
