ABSTRACT
Background Modern society is an era of convergence of various disciplines and technologies, and the importance of creating new values is increasing. Therefore, companies are trying to interact in multiple fields. According to the changing times, companies are using image strategies that satisfy consumers' desire for differentiated products and stimulate emotions through art collaboration. In response, this study attempted to examine the theoretical background of art collaboration, analyse how it is used in companies through examples, and understand what effect art collaboration has on the brand through research and analysis of previous studies.
Methods As the theoretical background of the research, first, we looked at the concept of art and design according to the changing times. Secondly, we looked at the concepts, backgrounds, and features of art collaboration. Third, we looked at how companies are using them through application cases of art collaboration. Fourth, through meta-analysis on art collaboration reported in previous studies, we identified its effect on the brand.
Result It was confirmed through examples that art collaborates with brand products, advertisements, and spaces at the actual company site. Also, through much prior research and analysis, it was possible to judge that art collaboration can pursue corporate brands' differentiation and positively affect image improvement and added value creation.
Conclusion Art collaboration is a cultural trend of the times that breaks down the boundaries between art and design and forms a new connection with industry. Type analysis showed that the brands that succeeded in art collaboration have been investing with continuous interest rather than a one-time approach. Furthermore, prior research reported that art collaboration positively affected the company's brand and value creation, so active marketing through art collaboration was expected to play a significant role in improving customer growth and sales. Therefore, more diverse artists and various types of collaboration are expected to take place, which can be expected to develop culture and arts and improve the quality of life.

ABSTRACT
Background Recently, universities are trying to attract foreign students because of decreasing student in domestic universities, but research on ‘education of international students’ is insufficient. In addition, the classes of collaborative project-type is increasing which are indispensable classes. Therefore, it is time to look for differences between Koreans and foreigners students to exchange together and receive equal education.
Methods First, a questionnaire was surveyed on the effect of the ‘self-efficacy for group work’ to be exhibited on ‘immersion in class’. Afterwards, the results were classified as foreign and domestic to examine the differences. The questionnaire consisted of students who completed the same group project-type class and conducted a total of 352 samples.
Result The results of analyzing the questionnaire are as follows. First, ‘self-efficacy for group work’ affects ‘emotional immersive in class’. Second, in case of foreign students, only ‘the type of solving the problem’ was found to affect the ‘emotional immersive in class’. Third, in the case of domestic students, ‘the type of leading’ and ‘the type of integrated’ affect to ‘emotional immersive in class’.
Conclusion For foreign students, encouraging participation and help them to experience solving problems can be a way to increase their ‘Self-efficacy for group work,’. In particular, it is necessary to establish a class strategy for their ‘interest’ and ‘learning motivation’, so that they can increase ‘Self-efficacy for group work’.

JEWNR 70(0) 97-108, 2021 |
ABSTRACT
Background China's urban regeneration practice has been developing since the reform and opening up to the outside world for 40 years. Despite the appearance of new forms and means in some large cities, the urban regeneration still remains in the center of government work and the renewal of old industrial buildings, neglecting the urban regeneration in the old residential areas.
Methods With the background of cognitive psychology, the five factors of spatial perception suggested by the author were used as the theoretical framework, and the urban regeneration of the old residential areas of Shenzhen and Guangzhou was investigated and analyzed.
Result First, the cognitive map construction is very important because the cognitive map's five elements of path, boundary, node, area and logo are missing or partially missing in the old residential areas. Secondly, the paper analyzes the urban regeneration of the old residential areas by using the theory of cognitive factors, and study shows that there are partial deficiencies of cognitive factors in those areas, so there are problems of urban regeneration and the environments there still needs to be improved.
Conclusion This study has shown that the lack of spatial cognition factors has a bright effect on urban regeneration, proving its necessity. The high degree of completion of the residential areas will have an impact on the design of the environment, thus giving the residents a sense of security. In addition, it is more important to protect the living environments and the historic nature of the areas than to develop blindly, so that it can continue to grow.

ABSTRACT
Background When designing a mobile banking application, it is required to maintain consistency within the app to unify the user experience of the UI design, and in oorder to increase the usability of the application, basic data are needed to compare and analyze the icons of the mobile operating system according to the guidelines.
Methods Through prior research, we identified the necessary production guidelines for each item when designing a navigation design icon for Material Design. Among these items, several items not related to Android application creation were excluded. Based on the derived material design icon creation guidelines, the icons of the target application's Bottom Navigation Bar were classified into design principles, grid and keyline shapes, system icon structures, and colors, and measured values according to detailed guidelines. Then, we checked whether there were any differences in the measurement values for the target icon compared to the material design system icon creation guidelines.
Result In the design principle, the proportions of those who meet the guidelines and those who do not appear similar. In the shape of the grid and the key line, the size items did not all match, but the layout, key line, and sharpness all matched. In the system icon structure, all corner radii did not coincide, and most of the lines did not coincide. Most of the complex forms coincide, and all the margins coincide. There was no object in color that met the principle.
Conclusion This study proposed a method to design and supplement icons according to the material design production guidelines when designing Android mobile banking applications. This will help to identify and improve icon design problems within the application.
