Comparison of Korean Virtual Keyboard Interfaces in Single-hand Situations

Abstract
In case of the both hands are not free, people can use virtual keyboards with single-hand in certain situations like in plants, construction sites, hospitals, service desks or vehicles. When people inputs Korean, the Qwerty, Alphabetic, Chun-ji-in, Narat-gul and Sky input systems are usually offered. Every keyboard could have its own strengths and weaknesses, but we had an assumption that there`s a preferred input system in single-hand situation. We recruited various users and proceeded user tests. We surveyed input speed and errors and analyzed the data based on the users` age, gender and personal background. In this study we tried to present which keyboard is most effective and reliable.
