A Developing Strategy of Mobile Services for the Silver Generation

Abstract
This study deals with a developing strategy of mobile services for the silver generation. The main aim of this paper is to explore the applications of mobile services and to suggest a developing strategy. To achieve the aim, this paper investigated existing resources to examine the characteristics of the silver generation, their changing lifestyles and silver industries. Secondly, mobile phones are examined, mainly recent trends of mobile phones. Afterwards, the area of mobile services are classified and divided as three areas which are relevant with silver generation. Through case studies, the current situation of mobile phones and services were analysed, and old consumer`s potential needs were analysed as well. Based on findings, this paper suggested the areas of mobile services which can be successful in the market and a developing strategy of mobile services for the silver generation. The markets of mobile services for silver generation have huge potential and it is and appropriate time to pay attention to the possibilities of the mobile services for the silver generation.
