Abstract |
The audio-visual textbooks of traffic safety education need the change given ordinary video contents are hard to attract the attention because extraordinary contents are too many in the overflowing of information. The study researched the notion and feature of audio-visual education and mental hygiene film which was the originator of audio-visual education to add the persuasive power to the audio-visual textbooks for traffic safety education and compared Korean traffic safety education using video media with American one and psychological elements as a persuasive strategy of audio-visual education. And it surveyed whether the persuasive strategy was needed to audio-visual textbooks for traffic safety education by researching the sample set which consisted of different ages. It found the measure of boosting adherence necessary and the emotional persuasive strategy epoch-making. However, there were problems such as low educational satisfaction, differences in recognition of education recipients by age. And recipients preferred good sense of audio-visual textbooks rather than fear ones. These results have to be importantly considered in making audio-visual textbooks for traffic safety education. |
