| Abstract |
| This study focuses on the design factors of resistance in the adaption process of PDA through the ZMET, an in-depth interview technique for metaphor. The results of the study are as follows. 1) There are three factors such as function, emotion and design in the recognition of PDA. These are summarized to concepts such as secretary, puppy and accessory. 2) There are adaption factors and resistance factors in the adaption process of PDA. Functional factors are an accuracy of information and a privacy. Emotional factors are a feeling of satisfaction and comfort. Design factors are an expression of individuality, a user-friendly interface and mobility. These results mean that design factors play a important role in the adaption process of PDA as a fashion or individuality icon. It is necessary to reflect the design factors in the development of the future information device for the promotion of adaption. |
