| ADevelopment of computer made human life more colorful by leading development of many kinds of media. It also brought development of mobile phone and many kinds of machines we can carry. By these machines which were developed rapidly, the necessity of systematic and efficient approach of GUI design was recognized, and people study about this more and more. This is because when users first use the machine and finds it uncomfortable or complicate, they do not use the machine anymore, due to the rapid development of media technology. Therefore, in order to help users understand about the machine easily and rapidly, GUI design must be considered mainly for the users. Thus, this thesis considers it must be considered that the users should be able to quickly learn how to operate the machine, and based on this thought, analyzes theoretical background of memory. Among the memory of a person, the learning called rehearsal allows the user actively react for every situation about the machines. This performs mutual communication between real world and virtual world, and can be considered as a way to destroy the wall between the both worlds. For the overall understanding of this thesis, we analyzed fundamental GUI elements about DMB Navigation k.way-wide, and presented the means to enhance convenience for use, about GUI design with theory of maintenance rehearsal and elaborative rehearsal. |
