Title
A study on the exaggeration(enlargement) of graphic data for the visual inspection of the digital map errors
우재남 Woo Jae-nam , 권창희 Kwon Chang-hee
Abstract
There are various errors in the process of manufacture of the digital map, and it can be used as GIS data when the errors are resolved. Various studies have been conducted to extract, classify and automatically or semi-automatically resolve the errors. However, since it is very difficult to implement automation with regard to the omitted or inaccurate data, visual inspection by experts has been applied to resolve it. The study focused on the omitted or inaccurate data extracted by the visual inspection among the digital map errors. Although the errors were not automatically extracted through the study, it made an LISP program aimed to automatically change the exaggeration of the graphic data so that the experts could extract the errors more accurately and more rapidly at a time of visual inspection. The use of the program is expected to help get results more accurately and more rapidly. As the study specifies the system of errors that occur at a time of visual inspection, it aims to lay the foundation for automated extraction of errors such as omission of data.
