abstract
Background Methods Result Conclusion In the current exhibition industry, there is not only excessive consumption of materials but also significant environmental pollution post-event. As environmental conditions worsen, recycling is increasingly recognized as one of the most critical methods for pursuing a better quality of life. The selection of eco-friendly materials for display stands is essential; before using such materials, health considerations should come first, followed by the issue of recovering leftover materials and preventing excessive material consumption. Regarding the installation of exhibition booths, it is not about ignoring the novelty and uniqueness of exhibition design. While extensive electrical work forms the foundation of system components, it does not imply a lack of imagination in exhibition formats. Exhibition designers often think they use a lot of materials in their booth installations. Suppliers can offer designers materials in various shapes, allowing them to create the most perfect exhibition spaces. However, exhibition designers tend to overlook environmental issues, focusing instead on showcasing flashy displays. Consequently, the eco-friendly concept might be disregarded in material selection. After the exhibition, dismantling and discarding materials not only increases resource consumption but also lowers environmental standards. Result To promote the importance and necessity of eco-friendly exhibition booths, it is crucial to widely disseminate knowledge related to environmental protection. The application of eco-friendly materials in standard exhibition booths should be researched and practiced extensively. Through such efforts, it is hoped that in the future, these materials will be used more widely in special exhibition booths as well, thereby reducing environmental pollution. Conclusion The application of eco-friendly materials in exhibition booth construction is not only a matter of environmental responsibility but also of health and resource management. By prioritizing eco-friendly materials, designers can create innovative and sustainable exhibition spaces. Furthermore, by raising awareness and understanding of the importance of eco-friendly exhibition practices, we can move towards a future where exhibitions are both impactful and sustainable. Ultimately, embracing eco-friendly materials and practices in the exhibition industry is essential for reducing environmental impact and promoting a higher quality of life.
