abstract
Background This study is a mixed method of research that explored domestic and foreign human milk banks websites to establish a donated humanmilk sharing platform in local medical institutions. The study is designed to build a humanmilk sharing platform by analyzing the website for the promotion of health of pregnant women and infants. Methods From the total of 15 websites, 3 were domestic human bank websites, 9 were foreign and 3 were non-profit human milk bank websites. Questioning tools were developed based on the evaluation criteria of domestic health information sites, designed for medical personnel (n=16) and high-risk pregnant women (n=16). Result First, the lack of connectivity with medical institutions were found as an obstacle to the strategy to revitalize human milk banks at regional bases, as it caused anxiety in the reliability and belief in the platform construction. Second, it was found that the establishment of a human milk bank website and platform in domestic health centers and medical institutions was desired. Third, by establishing an ideal human milk banking platform, human milk banks will be utilized further with higher access in the region with donated milk and recepients. Conclusion Based on the humanmilk tracking system, we would like to present a content design to build a humanmilk sharing flatform that reflects the needs of health care workers and high-risk pregnant women, including efficiency, up-to-date information, functionality, design, technology, and publicity.
