| abstract |
| Background The government has continued to carry on the project, but there have been several side effects. Recently, the government has carried out a new approach to urban regeneration to compensate for its problems. Therefore, this study is intended to present an effective direction for the project in the future by analyzing leading cases of urban regeneration.
Methods First, it is required to analyze cases concerning urban regeneration projects at home and abroad and to analyze the status of land in comparison. In addition, urban regeneration projects are analyzed in depth to derive success factors and analyze the design development processes using the processes.
Result The success factors derived from the site case study were 1) utilization of cultural assets, 2) field studies, and 3) the creation of a sustainable community.
Conclusion The study is significant in that it recognized the need for a new approach to urban regeneration and discussed the application of measures for effective urban regeneration planning. This discussion is consistent with the context of the Urban Regeneration New Deal, a major government policy, and is expected to contribute to improving the way in which cities are reproduced in the future. |
