abstract
In this paper, service space design is studied based on emotional experience according to configuration of the space. The research aims to figure out how emotional experience aspects of the people using service space are evaluated depending on arrangement of the space. As a case, spaces for coffee giveaway service in exhibition environments were prototyped. In the experiment, service space was configured in `ㄱ` and `11` shape. Specific activities were assigned in each space. Emotional experience has been evaluated in real-time during experiment. As a result, `ㄱ` and `11` shaped spaces showed distinct levels in emotional experience indicators such as `bored` and `convenient`. The findings suggests directions for designing service and service space that provide enhanced emotional experience.
