A study on the design of enamel jewelry using color psychology

abstract
Background In the era of knowledge information, modern society is newly emerging in real time with visual images and dynamic video media. Color plays an important role in giving symbols and meanings to these visual media and images. Color has been present everywhere in people's daily life and affects many areas of human life. Colors can have an emotional impact on a person not only through their general characteristics, but also through their psychological characteristics. Learning about these colors and understanding their psychological characteristics can suggest a new direction for enamel design. Methods Understand the general concept and characteristics of color, and examine psychological characteristics based on images and symbols of color. Based on the psychological characteristics of various colors, we study the design of enamel jewelry that give healing. Result In the design of enamel, a psychological effect was given by using a design that took advantage of the psychological characteristics of color. By suggesting designs using associations and symbols of various colors, we propose a meaningful enamel jewelry design. Conclusion By applying the psychological characteristics of color in the traditional enamel jewelry design area, it was intended to broaden the basis of the use of ornaments to the psychological realm. Busy modern people live under a lot of stress and emotional pain. For these modern people, enamel jewelry that reflect the psychological meaning of color can give psychological comfort. This study proposes an enamel design of empathy and healing that utilizes color by reflecting the psychological characteristics of color in enamel design, and through this, investigates the possibility of enamel jewelry design.
