ABSTRACT
Leisure activities pursued at home and abroad have grown in line with increased spare time and financial affordability, as well as a desire to improve one`s quality of life. Against this background, the changes in values with regard to spending leisure time to pursue rest, healing and well-being in nature, have left consumers eager to purchase practical fashion items which fit their leisure interests and highlight their personality.
The various needs for leisure activities are leading to a growing number of young consumers visiting resorts. This study aimed to design and produce aesthetic convertible wear which can be used not only at resorts but also in everyday life. The research findings are below. Designs and patterns were created for a one-piece dress which was selected as the number one clothing item which the subjects would carry and find useful. we designed convertible wear using trendy and functional gathers as decorative items. In terms of materials, an iron-free, small-volume memory fabric was used to facilitate easy packing, water-resistance and shape memory. As for color, beige was selected as a raw, eco-friendly color to express a feminine, high-end and modern image. So three designs for convertible resort wear were produced.

ABSTRACT
Growing demand in knitwear clothing has expanded the realm of design. That`s because the structural characteristics of knitwear provide elasticity and drapability, which then offers a flexible approach when it comes to design expression. Moreover, people`s tendency to seek activeness and convenience in their lives has led to high interest in casual and sports clothing, in which knitwear is the main source for. This phenomenon has increased consumption of knitwear. Through a careful theoretical examination, classical and vintage style knitwear has been recreated by Fair Isle and applied the motive to men`s cardigan wear. In order to make a simulation design, TexPro Design CAD 11.0 was used and 3D mapping technique was employed on the knitwear pattern. The surface texture of Cotton, Melange, Woolen, and Fancy were expressed in a variety of different ways and the color blue was used as the dominant color with the source 3~5 degree colors. As a result, it was found that knitting structure and properties could well be put into application in a creative way. Hopefully, the knitwear clothing industry will take advantage of knitting structure and properties that satisfy needs of consumers and create high-value knitwear in the future.

ABSTRACT
This study analyze texture`s scientific meaning of Neo-impressionist painters who, working with Seurat and Signac, helped develop the Pointillist style. We uses GLCM based Haralick`s feature variables to analyze paintings. It is a good tool to extract 2D statistical values about painting`s texture. In this study, after we randomly extract 75 texture images per painter and measure 20 feature variables, we use a independent t-test for finding statistical meanings. Throughout experimental results, we can confirm the existence of texture`s differences in 14 feature variables among two painters.
In comparison to Signac, Statistically significant differences are appeared between intensities. The results are confirmed that has the low-similarity between pixels. And it is known that texture have large variability. In the case of Signac, on the other hand, because texture correlation between adjacent pixels have high relative intensity, so texture is generally uniform.
