A large proportion of women in the survey responded that they consider size, design and fit as the most important factors when purchasing a bra. For the question on the level of fit of a bra, many answered that they want their bras to fit just right or little bit loose, and thus, prefer to wear their bras more comfortably.
Therefore, bra wearing behaviors, unsatisfying factors of wearing a bra, as well as the changes in the breast shapes should be reflected and carefully considered in the construction of brassiere for women in their 30s.

JEWNR 42(0) 183-190, 2014 |
ABSTRACT
This research analyzed the color variation characteristics of Korean fashion design in 2001-2005, 2006-2010 and 2011-2014 in order to provide the color-use-status of Korean designers in global fashion shows since 2000.
We have reviewed the meaning and color characteristics of Korean fashion design in the previous study and collected colors directly from fashion photos on the web considered as Korean fashion designs by Korean designers. Color analysis was carried out to extract Hue, Value and Chroma values by "Munsell Notation Picture Analysis" of Munsell Conversion 12.1.16 then arranged by Munsell`s 40 color systems and PCCS tones.
Various colors have been applied ever since 2010 along with mixed colors as well as 5 formal colors unlike around 2000 when 5 formal colors on Five-elements Color such as red in a high chroma, purplish blue, yellow and achromatic colors were mostly used. A large variety of colors appeared in each different tone with lower chroma and higher or lower brightness from modern color system perspective as such Ja-color(紫), secondary color between red and black, Hong-color(紅), secondary color between red and white, Byeok-color(碧), secondary color between white and blue and Ryu hwang(?黃), secondary color between yellow and black, whish shows the recovery of true Korean colors applying diverse traditional colors gradually away from the prejudice that traditional Korean colors are achromatic colors or intense primary colors with higher chroma. We can also verify that the academic performance regarding traditional Korean colors has been widely recognized and well applied to fashion shows since 2000.

ABSTRACT
Video media is a content where visual images and sound effects are concentrated. Expected to greatly develop and be consumed in the future, educational video media puts its stress on screen organization, layout, in other words, because its power of information delivery should be more excellent than any other media. In the respect of screen organization, the golden section is a ratio that is easy to express directions and movements while it feels stability and balance. The golden section, transcending all ages, countries and times, is an immanent order of nature; it takes an important role in artcraft design as 1) a basic structure of form generation, 2) constituting principle of figures, and 3) general beauty. The golden section also has the order and physical beauty as an ideal proportion, making human minds comfortable; therefore, it has been used for so many designs in history.
This study presented a layout format based on the golden section, to develop an effective outward system for video media design. JEWNR 42(0) 213-224, 2014 |
ABSTRACT
The concerned study reviewed a process and a design proposal of a `project on securing of pedestrian network for approach guidance` which had been conducted in cooperation with Team Terranova as a part of a project to promote an integrated design college of Yeungnam University in 2013. In doing so, the study improved the general understanding of relevant fields on how to deal with the concepts and other matters to be considered to secure the pedestrian network when the fields try to develop the pedestrian network for the approach guidance in a specific area. The study proposed an idea to disperse the concentrated tourism infrastructures into other adjacent areas by guiding traffic lines of visitors from Street Silgaecheon of Central Shopping Mall, the greatest business district in Pohang, to Yeongil Beach, one of the beaches in Pohang. Design plans for each area that the study has proposed will provide visitors with chances to enjoy even more various experiences and attractions while taking the class of the city up to another level, helping Pohang finally find its own identity.
