ABSTRACT
Today`s advertisement is a code in its period of containing cultural phenomenon. Consumers greatly tend to expend brand symbol and image, not product, with prescribing own value through advertisement. As much as it, the importance of today`s image gets larger. This directly implies importance of image-differentiated strategy through advertisement.
Accordingly, this study analyzed the image differentiation in magazine advertising of women`s make-up cosmetics by using the classical conditioning persuasion model, which is the typical persuasion model in persuasion communication, and the identification persuasion model in defense mechanism. An analytical method was suggested a frame of analysis through the successful advertising cases in two model. 5 representative make-up brands `Bobbibrown,` `Annasui,` `Chanel,` `Shiseido,` and `Missha` were analyzed centering on the magazine advertisements, which have been recorded for the recent 4 years(2007~2010).

ABSTRACT
As the standard of living has been raised and women`s aesthetic demands are also raised, consumption of cosmetic products and producing technology in Korea has made rapid progress. The quality and design of domestic cosmetics has already reached the global level and they steadily enter overseas markets based on the worldwide Korean Wave. Among them, Chinese market is a very huge market with potential power, and is like a blue ocean for us. At this point of time when already many brands are entering the Chinese market, and small and medium-sized enterprises are preparing to enter the market, the researcher had come to start this paper with the thought that we should establish theoretical foundation about what kinds of cosmetic package design will satisfy the Chinese people`s sensitivity more. Especially, when designing cosmetic package for export, we should figure out difference color sensation between Chinese people and us. Though there are some similarities in color sensation between them and us as people in the two countries have shared thought and philosophy traditionally, there are certainly clear difference which are now known to use according to the survey. Therefore, this study aimed to figure out difference between Chinese people and us based on data analysis on their favorite colors and unwelcome colors and to suggest right colors for designing cosmetic package for export.

This Renewable Solar Energy and design is evolves on user interface axis. Because, the quality of Solar Energy growth is feared following the Renewable Solar Energy oversupply through the consumer`view point.

The Effects on Information Presentation Modes and Complexity of Website

ABSTRACT
As the development in computer and communication technologies, websites could use the combination of text, graphic, and animation in order to present the information. This study adds the measurement of assessing emotions to the memory, which has been the major measurement scale of the cognitive effects, because there are reports of inconsistency in results from the earlier findings on cognitive effects under the same conditions of information presentation mode.
The laboratory experiment of repeated design was executed by the different order of three conditions among 9(3x3) combinations with information presentation mode(text only, text with graphic, text with graphic in animation) as a treatment variable and complexity(3 levels of the content length in the number of characters) as a contingency variable. Dependent variables included recall and recognition explaining memory in the websites, and preference and attitude on assessing emotional response.
When the complexity was added to the differences in information presentation modes, it affected differently by the combinations of the levels of complexity and presentation modes.

ABSTRACT
Jewelry is a product that comes from nature. Its high pressure and temperature conditions, and hundreds or thousands years of nature`s phenomenon and the last trimmed by a human`s hand give birth to `jewel`. Jewel can be roll as value of wealth, but it can be use by accessory too which highlight the charms of jewels. In addition, attributes of metals and gemstones are similar to each other which are in a long time they do not change. Depending on the type of jewelry, they can be the same in appearance, but the gem`s inclusions cannot be the same. Inclusions that can discriminate based on the type of jewelry and jewelry with natural gems, synthetic stone, and imitation stone in diagnose are an important way to distinguish. An inclusion in a gem in long time was created naturally from nature. Therefore, the work comes to those who create and study may be sufficient to show that design elements. Among the gems of their inclusions, which represented a unique personality, a unique form of the aesthetic properties of the inclusions is shown. By using specialized scientific instruments such as microscopes to observe the inclusions, but inclusions of these microscopes can also touch by hand while watching them, more easily accessible forms and kinds to help them take advantage of the image in the form of inclusions, plastic shapes and colors relate to the ornaments and try the operation, he presented a theoretical compliant. Based on the inherent structure in nature, exploring the image and design jewelry by combining with the deployment of the body functions and increase its effectiveness with harmony in the form of shape were pulled into a freedom. Inclusions were classified as structural and morphologically, and then presented each with a unique mark of jewelry. Carefully observed in the enlarged format, by taking advantage of its shape, such as to emphasize certain parts of the transformation process was applied to the decorations. Came into the modern age, means of a variety of concepts have been produced accessories those containing your personality, your own contribution, and so on to participate. For the modern jewelry, the works to be displayed in the selection of materials and techniques have been broadened. The work material of inclusion gem tighten to the shape of the fluid, natural images and as the adequate representation of various colors are available in everyday life, A cross-stitch technique which everybody can be applied to was applied.
In this paper, presented concept of inclusion jewelry, and it complies with the material alteration of the image, work practices through a diversity of techniques presented, discussed future possibilities and challenges.

ABSTRACT
In this information-oriented era, changes in social paradigms have brought rapid changes in various areas including culture, economy and education. Such trend has been accepted as an important opportunity in education and needs changes in social structures, educational recognition and educational environment.
Elementary schools provide the most fundamental and basic education as a compulsory education and nurture desirable and creative attitudes of students as a base for succeeding education. Educational institutions and methods to achieve elementary educational purposes focus on respecting personality and helping students to enthusiastically exert their ability.
Therefore, this study aims to identify characteristics of space composition according to acceptance of social changes and diversified curriculum focusing on learning space of elementary schools. For the purpose, educational environment which can effectively correspond with changed learning space was developed and learning space for elementary schools constituted according to the 7th Curriculum was analysed. As a result of analysing composition of learning and multi-purposed space which is a focus of the 7th Curriculum revised in 2009 and open space, planning directions to constitute open space, independent space and integrated space were obtained.

The aesthetic consciousness of Ceramics which appears in Painting of bookshelves

ABSTRACT
In the center book and stationery of the scholars, the ceramic ware·the vase·the pot·the cup etc. appropriately arranged and accorded in between the books in painting of bookshelves. Painting of bookshelves in the Joseon was started to be produced earnestly at the time of Jeongjo in 18th century latter.
This paper tries to divide the various style of the painting of bookshelves in three kind formats. First, it is the bookshelves-style painting of bookshelves which the book and the treasures are put in order well in the bookshelves. The selected painting is 8 width folding screens in Hoam art museum. Second, the curtain-style painting of bookshelves which the curtain comes to hang down, is analyzed. The selected painting is the painting of bookshelves of Jang hanjong. Third, as the array-style painting of bookshelves without the bookshelves, it is selected 8 width folding screens in Tongdo Buddhist temple museum.
Analyzing the type and a feature of ceramics which appear in the painting of bookshelves which classified in the format of 3 kinds is like this and the result synthesized to the cermics which have various the desire and oriental ideology of the people are being put in to know the thing, the aesthetic consciousness which like this ceramics keeps the arrangement possible is with 5 kind the result with afterwords is same.
(1) The classic beauty which prefers the old thing in stationery ceramic (2) The various beauty and the gorgeous beauty which prefers the change of form and color in bottle (3) The magnanimous beauty which is put in the plate and the vase (4) The pragmatic beauty and the composed beauty which is mainly practical in the cup·the pot·the hap (5) The symbolic beauty which contains a strong symbolic characteristic in the different ceramics and the rest of ceramics exists as we know that.
About aesthetic consciousness of the ceramics which are various appears in the painting of bookshelves which is one style of folk painting research the ceramics idea which the Joseon Dynasty period literary person love to approach understands the cultural cord of the ancestors, there is a meaning which a further today tries to grope new ceramics culture with review the old and learn the new.

ABSTRACT
Animism has an effect on human beings, and therefore it can be said a belief in spiritual beings controllable by consciousness, which may help polytheistic Japanese people believing in various gods, ancestor gods, and various spirits have religious spirituality of animism. Rather than believing in a certain god with an intelligible view of truth, their belief is characterized by animism in which they participate in religious rituals or activities for their own good.
"Shinsi(しんし)" appears the symbolic animals on behalf of the God which has contacts with the Human world. The symbolic animals are the root of religious identifications of the Japanese and they are many different animals from kinds of reptile to kinds of birds, or frim kinds of mammals to kind of the imaginary creature. And we can easily find the old stories about a special animal that has passed His will to a man in Japanese mythology.
Animism as a basis of their view of god can be said to be the root of religious identity deep inside of Japanese people. This study aims to examine the proximity between the Japanese view of god and East Asian myths, by comparing works of Miyajaki Hayao, leading artist of Japanese animation and Sanhaegyeong, representative myth and geography book of China as another important axis of East Asia.
If we find tales of the Korean God, and also research and develop the contents that are agreeable to the Korean sentiment by this research, Korean mythology will have the power to develop global cultural contents.

Learning Styles of the Interior Design Students and their Attitudes and Aptitudes toward Major

ABSTRACT
This study examines the learning styles of the interior design students in the Seoul metropolitan area and their attitudes and aptitudes toward major. Data from the survey questionnaire were collected from 303 participants and statistical analysis were administerd. Findings indicated that; 1) students tend to be accommodator dominantly in learning styles, 2) overall positive attitudes and aptitudes toward major, 3) significant differences in attitudes and aptitudes according to learning styles, sex, previous experience of art education and fine arts test to enter college. More specifically, students with accommodator type did better in studio class and men reported overall higher attitudes and aptitudes toward major compared to women. Senior students tend to have higher intention to transfer to different major and negative expectations to their current major. Previous experience of art education and fine arts test to enter college were major factors to determine aptitudes toward major. Development of teaching strategies that incorporate students` preferred learning styles and comparison with the students` learning styles in related areas such as architecture were recommended for future study. Also, consideration of the factors that affect attitudes and aptitudes toward major found in this study in discussing and evaluating curriculum, college entrance examination system, and merging of departments were addressed.

ABSTRACT
Up until now since late 1990s, when the era of local governments began, many of them have tried to gain competitive advantage by creating identity design development which is based on each region`s distinctive local features.
That indicates that they have taken it as one of the most important issues that each local government should make differentiated identity establishment and attractive image creation with the change of the times of more fierce rivalry among regions and cities.
Especially, most local governments speed up introducing local brand and making identical design when the world is competing for cultural dominance which resulted in a great deal of local character development and its application.
That is reflective of local governments` strategy and commitment in order to actively utilize the characters as the special media which are easy to empathize and communicate with based on friendly images. However, there are not many examples showing that local governments` characters express their differentiated unique images and be recognized with its worth as a local brand by receiving local people`s affection in the long run.
Above all, it is important for the local characters to win local people`s affection and support to last its vitality through communicating with local people.
By doing this, characters could have life force as living existence throughout the public and become representative local emblem, growing as cultural contents equipped with global competitiveness.
In order to get the outcome, it is necessary to develop distinctively stereotyped friendly characters representing local people and their culture with Korean sentiment and emblem.
This thesis is to find a way to develop more competitive local characters through analyzing Korean sentiment and emblem shown as in traditional korean culture passed down with its focus on public culture and traditional cultural characters as media features and researching its links between them.
To achieve this, it intends to propose the specific direction by researching the process of development on Seoul`s symbolic character, "Hatch".
