Relations between familiarity and store image in on-line stores

ABSTRACT
This paper is to identifies relationship between expression information, store image and store patronize by investigate how picture based information display and words based information display influences on safety, convenience and entertainment, and they, in turn, influence on patronize by comparison of familiarity with non-familiarity in on-line stores. A survey study was conducted to collect the data with consumers who have experience purchase or search on internet shopping malls. Analysis of structural equation modeling with AMOS 18.0 was performed to test the research hypothesis. The results of the study are as follows: It was found that picture based information display has influences on both safety and entertainment, and words based information display influences on all components of store image, and convenience, in turn, affects to patronize in consumers that have high familiarity. But picture based information display has influences on both safety and convenience, and words based information display influences on both convenience, and entertainment, and entertainment, in turn, affects to patronize in consumers that have low familiarity.

A Study On Character Of Japaness Kawai code In KOREA & JAPAN

ABSTRACT
character industry is being spotlighted as a higher value- added industry because of its capability to be broadened to encompass diverse fields. Especially in Japan, Kawai character code has been produced as a national trend and when these children grow up, they unceasingly enjoy character product. It`s associated with the propensity to consume like mania to enlarge the field of consumption and also create the cycle of continuous consumption.
The Japanese word, `Kawai` means cute, but it involves Japanese sentiments. So Kawai character cannot be defined simply as cute character. The characters of Kawai code have been personified by minimalism and have their episodes. Moreover, `Kawai`, a Japanese sentiment is expressed but also the character which hasn`t any specific nationality has been developed to succeed in the global market.
This study analyzes the esthetics of Kawai code character and then apply several cases of korean characters like Ppororo, Ppuka and Mashimaro to seek a strategic solution for developing character.

ABSTRACT
The development of visual media not only has changed the representation and the ways of communication, but also has grown up as a primary medium unifying other media. I believe that one must understand how to interpret and see conceptual information between human beings and images in order to communicate efficiently through visual information.
In the film, the opening titles is visual information of implicitness. It is not a simple visual array of different images at all, but is the media and the message endowed with efficiency and sufficiency of the visual language and the visual representation.
Kyle Cooper has established a unique and influential world of his own in the area of the opening titles. He is admired for destroying the mold of traditional metaphysics and transforming the existentialism of title designs with his experimental works.
In conclusion, Kyle Cooper`s works have to be understood as a message not only formed by various visual languages, but also interacted with and responded sensitively to the public.
In this thesis, I am using a definition of the opening titles which refers to both a sign and a message perceived. To conclude, then, Kyle Cooper`s works suggest its abstract principle and direction in order to analyze and apply to the new paradigm in the visual era.

The Effect of Psychic Factors on Sharing Private Information in Liminal Space

ABSTRACT
A variety of interactive media that had to need private information is generated in these days. the extended concept of liminal space is valid, and sharing of private information is essential for approaching to the liminal space. However, users don`t approve an unconditional provision of private information due to perception gap in a diverse network. In theory, therefore, We understand `the relationship between a space and a psychic distance`, and discuss pshchic factors that have influence on public information in the liminal space.
And to conclude, factors that decide a psychic distance in liminal space are environmental perception factors and relationship ones. Concretely, the first factor is the level of closeness, and the second is the environmental stimulus, the third is the brand image of space. The level of closeness decides an attitude of users approaching to interactive media. If concentration of closeness are stronger, users will share important information easily because of weakened psychological barriers. the environmental stimulus and the brand image have a effect on correlation of perception and attitude. the environmental stimulus decides an attitude of users through determination a perception distance with other people. The brand image forms positive/negative mood on space, and has effect on decision of whether users operate medium or not.

An Analysis on Animation Characters with Greimas Semiotic Approach - Focussing on < New Little Dinosaur Dooly >, A TV Animation-

ABSTRACT
This study chose new episodes in < New little dinosaur Dooly > as subjects to analyze what their functions and meanings between existing supporting characters and new ones are with `Aktantenmodell` and `Carre Semiotique` of Greimas Semiotic.
Of twenty four episodes in < New little dinosaur Dooly >, story structures of three episodes like "The iron ghost", "The disk devil", and "The Unicorn" are analyzed and models are subsequently analyzed with `Aktantenmodell` and `Carre Semiotique` of Greimas Semiotic.
In conclusion, it is found that new characters of new episodes in a animation, < New little dinosaur Dooly > have meanings and functions much more than existing characters.

A Case Study on Japan`s design Design Education for Social Mecenat Activity - Centering on a Case of `Koganei Artfull·Action` -

ABSTRACT
The purpose of this study was to examine whether the design education can be utilized as an alternative approach strategy available for enjoying a basic right of culture in many social members, through exploring about a case of Japan`s society, culture and arts education. Moreover, the aim is to plan Korea`s better popular design education by examining its difference and what an applicable element is, after comparing a case of our country`s popular arts education. A case of `Koganei (小金井)Artfull·Action,` which is research subject, offered the following ideas by developing activity under two banners as saying of “new discovery in daily life” and “expansion in meeting and exchange.”
First, it showed extensibility of the social Mecenat activity as a culture-volunteering work educational program, which was jointly participated by social members such as the execution committee that was united citizen-university-administration. Second, it induced citizens` positive participation, thereby having been able to maintain diversity, identity as community, and furthermore sustainable continuity. Third, it led to what makes a contact point available for reflecting individual experience of diverse citizens through developing program, which fused arts in each field. The event, which is gathered several elements of surrounding modern expression such as design, fine arts, drama, movie, dance and music, became an opportunity that several participants visit regardless of age, gender, and job.
Consequently, this study aims to suggest ripple power available for functioning as opportunity of being able to guarantee a cultural self- determination right and a participatory right, with recognizing the social responsibility for culture and art, which will need to offer a right of enjoying culture as basic human right.

ABSTRACT
The purpose of this study is to consider concept of creative city and amenity of culture & art by and large, and to inspect and to redefine the goal through analysis of Heyri Art Valley in Paju, and to signpost the community development by culture & art.
Heyri Art Valley is a type of combining contents of culture & art and space. Therefore remarkable architectural result is very encouraging. Absence of main axis and core in the complex makes to be disorder a little. The style of cultural production didn`t progress with complementary by a constant policy. And Heyri`s cultural art identity isn`t formed so Heyri`s programs didn`t discriminate from existing in the cultural art world. Social groups of residents, tenants and visitors that influence Heyri are competed claims or compromised. So they have difficulties.
Therefore Heyri must resolve the different awareness and absent sharing sense by reestablishment the group`s identity and reinforcement continuous community`s communication in a long range view instead of being satisfied with their architectural outcome. Also they should define the aim of culture & art and specific contents, select and concentrate the type of program accordingly. The direction of urban design should adjust by concept of paradigm, too.

ABSTRACT
Environmental problem becomes the most important topic in the world, and environmental-friendly is the main topic in domestic exhibition industry. Currently, all industries focus on environmental-friendly exhibition. Domestic exhibition industry has quantitative growth, and development condition with environmental-friendly exhibition environment, which is international trend, have to be established when our nation enters the developed country of exhibition.
This study combines 2 concepts, which are environmental-friendly and growth of domestic exhibition industry, and this study suggests the direction of domestic exhibition industry that is necessary to go forward. A range of this study is the suggestion of concept and future of environmental-friendly exhibition through theoretical consideration, and also suggestion of implication through the case of exhibition center in this nation and other country is also the range of study. With these 2 ranges and existing examples, this study discusses about future plan for the introduction of environmental-friendly elements.
This study analyses the cases such as case of environmental-friendly exhibition center from Germany, USA, and Australia, and case of COEX and Expo that are representative exhibition center in this nation. This study examines how environmental-friendly exhibition is processing, and this study deducts 4 implications, which are the support of government, role of participants, connection among government, industry, and academia, and international cooperation, with analyzation on the above. For the last, this study suggests future plans for the introduction of environmental-friendly elements for exhibition industry. First, Exhibition booth for environmental-friendly exhibition. Second, introducing environmental-friendly to facility in the exhibition center. Third, advertisement of exhibition and environmental-friendly marketing.
Although environmental-friendly exhibition is not activated in this nation, necessity of environmental-friendly exhibition is sympathized in all industry. Interest and expectation for this are high. Environmental-friendly exhibition is continuous process by all of exhibition industries, and study related with government, industry, and academia and effort of exhibition industry should consistently combined to activate environmental-friendly exhibition.

ABSTRACT
According to the human ecological footprint theory, now the phenomenon of global biological overloading is serious, and this serious situation of ecological deficit is increasing. The sustainable development becomesa major problem of human society. Rational using and saving of the earth`s non-renewable resources, more development and utilization of sustainable biological resources, maintaining ecological balance and safeguarding the sustainable development has become the only choice of modern human society.
Bamboo is rapidly renewable and sustainable biological resources. Significant breakthroughs had made in the processing methods of bamboo materials by advanced technology, and the application space for bamboo materials has expanded. Extensive use of bamboo materials is in line with the needs of sustainable development of human society.
This thesis makes a depth study about the related knowledge of bamboo and bamboo industrial technology and analyzes the problems which exist in the bamboo industries and products, adheres to the concept of sustainable design, through the design proposals of coat hook, tries to break the natural properties of bamboo, discusses the standardized and combined application of bamboo and sustainable design approach of bamboo products.
Modern industrial technology is adopted for the development and design of bamboo daily necessities which has a positive significance to promote the development of bamboo industry and expand the depth using of bamboo resources.

ABSTRACT
Visual Image is revealed the expression of the color & coordination style is composed by the characteristic preferring color consideration of the modern various cultural environment, social, and economic impacts from the representing personality, conformity processes, and systems.
The new phenomenon related in visual trend such as color is caused by the changes in the propensity to consume various lifestyle and the increase in the sentimental elements. The choices are impact on the visual communication tool such as color and coordination style through the selecting preference colors and fashion style for the undergraduate students from the differences of age, gender, major, or preferring tastes. The Colors of personal image expression are the most effective visual factors for showing oneself and personality to communicate with style.
Color is the most powerful tools in showing the visual factors which are related to the personal image making and self-image expression The empirical study focused on differences of color & coordination style relevance application between color and style perception for the Korean undergraduate students. This questionnaire presents preferring neutral color tone for necessary tools of useful color selection related many different styles which help to improve relevance color selection.
This thesis is designed to explore the characteristics of color selection through relevance the color& tone compared to the color sensitivity and color application depending on the color and tone. It can be presented to analyze the color & tone`s preference the recent and future technical style tendencies of related color planning beauty and fashion industry including domestic and global for the Korean undergraduate students as the main consumers. This thesis will provide various information for the development of new color selection and style designs based on the important color and tone related to the likeness style for the understanding of the new visual trends.
