ABSTRACT
The convergence of digital functions and people`s habituation to Digital equipment are being established as a social trend which is nothing new any more. Such a social trend has created irresponsible users` environment without any consideration of users` situation by making a complex mixed with the lowering of usability and indiscriminate functions appear to the public together with a positive aspect of easy living . Such an issue suggests that the function of digital equipment not only assumes a strong inefficient aspect by focusing on the objective of convergence and applying the applications overlapping with other sorts of equipment but also brings about consequential dissatisfaction of a user with its function.
This research process made it possible to induce the menu composition accessible to user-available digital equipment through the value analysis of digital convergence and also mutual eigen value between menus of the mobile phone which stands in the center of a convergence device, which this researcher judges to be very important in terms of a convergence trend of a new digital device and its subsequent menu composition & management. As shown in case of recently-released mobile phones, there come out the products which are offering a positive environment to a user-availability by reflecting this aspect. In terms of the analysis of research results, users tend to select the convergence value of a digital device depending on the performance of equipment of its own, and such a selection of users could be judged to share the use and absolute value of equipment. In addition, eigen value of a menu also showed users` preference for management side of more individualized information than just a function level of menu composition of the existing mobile phone, which means a transition from the concept of a mobile phone as a tool for communications to that of an information device for the individual use. Therefore, it is believed that the concept of a convergence device is firmly being developed into a smart phone or smart.

The Materials trend of the chair through the Milan International Furniture Fair

ABSTRACT
One of the most essential components in chair design is the material being used. This defines the practicality, comfortableness and the supportability of the chair. Therefore the purpose of this study is to analyze the material trend of the chair through the Milan International Furniture Fair (which is the most renowned International Furniture Fair) from the year 2000 to 2008. For this study, 386 chairs have been chosen from 72 companies according to its popularity and ranking records.
For a thorough analysis of the materials the chair contains,has been classified into structures, filler and surface materials. The total materials used in contemporary chair design have been assorted. This assortment has been narrowed down to 44 different types of material, which have been categorized into wood, metal, chemical, textile and leather. Metal is mainly used as the structure of the chair design and the majority of the filler materials consist of chemicals. Leather and fiber were the most popular materials that are used in a finishing product and chrome is mostly used as a finishing material for metal. The analysis of International chair design verified that chemical and metal are the most common materials used in contemporary chair design.

ABSTRACT
Every city, recently, makes a great effort to develop successful public designs to secure cultural identity keeping step with the trend of globalization.
It is the universal fact that 21st century is the era of focusing on constructing highly valued noble city design considering exchanging information among human beings, spaces, and environment, which is different from the previous technology-oriented time.
In the public design, developing outdoor advertisement and public-sign plays the greatest role at any time ever as a barometer for both future and level of the city. Consequently, to make beautiful outdoor advertisement and public signs , we have to get rid of unnecessary informed outdoor advertisement and utilize them as a tool to deliver the minimum information so that we have maximum efficiency.
This thesis makes a search for the development of outdoor advertisement and public sign design to make city image positive and continual. The regions of Gyunggi province which have excellency in setting up outdoor advertisement and public signs were chosen as the target cities for the study and I propose the development contents with the results of this study

A Study on Customer Emotional Factors of Indoor Shoes Design for Elementary School Students

ABSTRACT
One of human body, feet do the major role of standing erect and walking as two feet, which it makes human beings different from other species. The main purpose of shoes are needed for proper development of feet and protects from cold and injury. Shoes also should give feet move easier and freer. Therefore, shoe design should have functionality and beauty factor. These days, it tends to highlight in beauty than functionality. Nevertheless, shoes influence on students who are in the growing stage rather than clothes. That is why I seek for essential functions of shoes here.
The purpose of this study investigate the customer emotional factors of indoor shoes that students put on at their school for long time. In order to analyze comparatively the differentiation of structures and features of indoor shoes that have circulated and sold in present market, I surveyed students and their parents about what is the major factor of increasing customers` emotions of indoor shoes students use at school and institute, and what are satiable and uncomfortable factors when they buy indoor shoes. In this study, I researched face to face from the 1st grade elementary school students and their parents to 6th ones, and I analyzed factor analysis and cluster analysis using SPSS 12.0
The result of customer emotional analysis for customer demonstrative analysis is as below. Firstly, indoor shoes become suitable with clothes. Secondly, it must have emotional style. Lastly, customers prefer comfortable and functional style. In conclusion, customers buy more comfortable and friendlier products. The design of indoor shoes based on this demonstrative analysis result would create more Koran style and differentiated products. I think this thesis is significant to show the demonstrative reference of indoor shoes.

The Characteristics of Microblog Communication : Centering around `Twitter` and `Me2day`

ABSTRACT
This study examines the concept of microblog as a new communication channel and the present state of the microblogging services in Korea and investigates the characteristics of microblog. Through the literature review and the case study focused on `Twitter` and `Me2day`, this study finds out that microblog, the derivation of existing personal media like blog, has the attributes of computer-mediated communication and is formed of remediation of merging the various characteristics of diverse media. New communication style in microblog is characterized by self-expression by short text formation, interconnected extension and spatial-temporal flexibility. At the moment of microblog expanding the society-wide influence, the meaning of this study is to investigate microblog as a new communication channel and clarify the direction of microblog usage through clarifying the characteristics of new communication method.

A Study on the Differences of Advertising Effects Role of Involvement depending on Credibility of the Web Sites

ABSTRACT
This subject of this study is to verify positively whether advertising effect is affirmative in accordance with the credibility of the web site on the assumption that the web is regarded as mass communication and the web site is regarded as the medium of media based on the prior study the credibility perceived by the medium is able to transfer to perception of the advertisement, consequently it has an effect on the result of the advertisement.
The independent variable on this study is credibility of web site, the parameter is participation and the dependent variable is advertising effect. As a result of this study, according to the credibility of web site, advertisement attitude, brand attitude and purchase intention are raised, thus it is suggested that choosing highly credible media is more essential to increase advertising effect as advertisements are published on web site like traditional media. Moreover it is necessary for client to select advertisement media with considering that media feature can affect its advertisement. Particularly, in case of brand-new company, choosing advertisement media will play an important role in establishing the image of the product.

A Research on Transformation of Illustration from Reproduction of Painting-Focus on Yuksimwon and Yositomonara

ABSTRACT
Media development helped illustration to extend. The development widened the communication through the illustration, which had been limited in media arts and public arts. In addition, media influenced painting to expand simple `painting paintings` concept to representation using various media. However, this does not mean `replication` in illustration. Replication in illustration uses media to communicate with public. When painting lays its mean on originality, the mean and value of illustration grow through replica. Recently, such a phenomenon can be found: painting not only strategically replicates but also replicates in the meaning of illustration. Works of Yuk Sim Won and Yoshitomo Nara well displays the illustrative replica. These artists intensely replicated their works to communicate with public. It is similar to the illustration in media art and public art. By analyzing the mass media the artists use, the author demonstrated that their painting contents are used in illustration. As that the artists with replica and communication, the characteristics of illustration, Yuk Sim Won and Yoshitomo Nara, operate in illustration area proves, their works are recognized as illustration.

ABSTRACT
Each image influences on our life style by the development of mass media and the rapid growth of cultural commodities influence. In these times, each exposition and local cultural festivals both at home and aborad perform the hot struggle for life.
Especially, as the strongest image, the emblem design and mascot design create the new image and prepare the chance to change of customer`s thinking, and also are functioned as the important variable of consumption.
In this study, we observed the necessary of the development of commodities through the development of emblem design of International Flower Exposition in Anmyeondo, 2009 and mascot design. The practical using commodities by the developed mascot design do not satisfy the customers` desire in comparison with the concerning and the importance for the cultural commodities.
The life for the satisfaction of leasure requires the design commodities that satisfy the beauty, sensitivity, feeling, and function as well as the creation of new culture. Also the nation`s image can be improved by the design culture of flower exposition. The development of mascot commodities is the required item, and the broad point of view for the customers, the quality of small quantity batch production, and the creative design are required.
Therefore, the design development strategies are required to maximize the development of local economy based on the emblem by the success of International Flower Exposition in Anmyeondo, 2009 and the development of various cultural commodities by the mascot design.

Image of Metal Silver Color Revealed in the Fashion of the 21st Century

ABSTRACT
The purpose of this study is to examine the characteristics of the silver color by period which has been applied increasingly in the fashion design and analyze the fashion image which is expressed in the metal silver color mainly based on the fashion design works of the 21st century.
The results of this study are as follows; The elegance image gives the impression of sophisticated feminine beauty through simplicity, which keeps the silhouette of human curvature intact based on the feminine sensibility pursuing feminine image, makes an detailed emphasis on the shoulder or waistline, and applies the variation in the material. The active image reveals a strong tendency of casual wear or walking wear with the simple line and young sporty style based on functionality through free and active sensibility. The sophisticated image shows the chic and contemporary sensibility with strongly metallic materials or bold details through simple and minimal lines based on intelligent sensibility. The mannish image creates a strong image of straight, functional, and active image of military look based on future-oriented sensibility of cyber technology.
Based on those findings, metal silver color, which is future-oriented and has a strong tendency of technology, will have even stronger impact as human-oriented human tech and sensibility design are making advances in the 21st century.

ABSTRACT
The eco-feminism is a study based on ecology & feminism which concern to ecological crisis and feminine suppression. It has a particular point of view which female and nature as a victim by male and development, then tried to recognize the existence of female as a impartial being.
`Nanjido` was a huge, nasty dumping ground of seoul, now it changed totally different, there is clean, pleasant `world cup` park, it symbolizes a turning point of revolution of metropolitan regeneration designs.
`World cup` park shows compromise between human being & nature, cure in harmony for nature and femininity through eco-feminism.
To break through the ecological nature crisis which confront human being,we need to get better thought and different point of view to see the nature correctly. Then we have to find out best solution which human and nature can live together and perfect ecological balance through eco-feminism.
